Two Days and One Night Following Our Dreams

On January 7, 2017, at 7:30 AM, we gathered at Wat Huay Chorakhe Wittayakhom School.

We traveled by van, with a total of 9 people. Our theme was "Bohemian."

We each contributed 2,000 baht for the trip, and we set off...

Our first stop was "Mulika R.S. 124."

I don't know when we arrived because I slept the whole way. I woke up to the sound of my friends excitedly shouting, "Here's Mulika!!!" Even though the New Year's period was over, the place was still crowded, especially in the afternoon.

      • Entrance fee: 200 baht per person (New Year's promotion)
      • Costume rental: 250 baht per person, including accessories and umbrella (300 baht for R.5 female costumes)
      • Before entering, we had to exchange our money for Thai baht because Mulika uses Thai currency.

We enjoyed dressing up in traditional Thai costumes and role-playing as people from the past. There were buildings of various styles, both Thai and European.

This place offers a great deal of freedom. We can collaborate on making desserts or take photos without feeling awkward.

The Thai way of life

The second stop, "Khao Laem National Park"

After we were exhausted from Mallika City, we stopped for a delicious meal along the way and headed to Khao Laem National Park, our accommodation for the night (not many scenic photos because we were busy having fun and taking selfies, haha).

Before reaching our accommodation, we had to stock up on food for the night, as you can see from the picture of the "Goddess of Finance".

Upon arriving at our accommodation, we decided to unwind by soaking our feet in the water after a long day of sightseeing. The cool atmosphere and the cascading waterfall provided a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. The water was pleasantly cool, offering a delightful contrast to the warm day. It was a truly invigorating and enjoyable moment.

A distant view of our accommodation, where we slept in tents to fully immerse ourselves in the atmosphere. (My friends said that sleeping in tents was amazing, warm, and enjoyable.)

The night was filled with activities, and we didn't get to sleep until 1:00 AM. Our bus leaves at 5:30 AM.

The final photo from Khao Laem is a hilarious one of us striking a pose for the camera.

Station 3: "Mon Bridge, Sangkhla Buri"

We met at 5:30 AM, but we actually left at 6:30 AM. The morning atmosphere was cool, but not too cold. I slept the whole way, but I could feel that the road was very winding.

We have arrived at the **Mon Bridge, the longest wooden bridge in Thailand**. This historic bridge exudes a magical charm. Even though it's a Sunday morning, there are quite a few tourists here capturing the scenic views. We decided to enjoy our breakfast while taking in the sights. After all, an army marches on its stomach.

This morning, we planned to take a boat trip to explore the underwater world of Sangkhlaburi. We wanted to avoid the heat, so we set off early. The boat trip cost 300 baht per person and included a tour of Wat Somdet and the sunken city, as well as a guide.

First stop: Head to "Sam Phrasob," the confluence of three rivers: the Bikki River, the Rantee River, and the Songkalia River, which converge to form the Khwae Noi River.

** **

The second stop was Wat Somdet, a temple perched atop a small hill. This temple remained above the waterline and was abandoned when the district office of Sangkhla Buri was relocated.

Around the temple, there are 5 wishing stones for good health, 9 for prosperity, and 18 for love (==! Love seems to have obstacles even though there are 18 stones, more than the others, haha).

The second point ends with a light VOGUE image with Nong Pat, the owner's daughter.

Point Three Badal City

The pleasure of cruising, the cool breeze against your face, the emergence of new couples, it's a warm and happy atmosphere. It's a great trip, I'd love to come again someday....

Farewell and see you again soon
