Hello, Kanchanaburi has a unique charm, with its distinctive accent.

This trip started from Pathum Thani at 2 am. I opened the GPS and planned the route. It said it would take 6 hours, so I thought I would arrive around 7-8 am. The roads were empty, so it was a relaxing drive. However, I didn't factor in the time it would take to climb the mountain. I ended up arriving at 10 am. But it was all worth it when I opened the car door and felt the fresh air. The temperature was 15 degrees Celsius, and the wind was strong, so strong that one of the tent poles broke.

The picture shows an empty space because everyone had already left.

This trip was planned on a whim, with little to no research beforehand. We decided to go see the sea of fog after someone suggested it. We stopped at the Kloy Hom market to buy snacks and bread, fearing there wouldn't be anything to eat on the mountain. However, there were vendors selling meatballs, coffee, instant noodles, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the top of Khao Chang Suk. The prices were reasonable, with coffee sachets costing 15 baht (compared to 5 baht in town), beer cans at 40 baht, and meatballs at regular prices. Instant noodles were around 25 baht, but I'm not sure because my friend ate them. Using the bathroom costs 5 baht, and showering costs 10 baht.

The tent is set up, it's time to walk and take selfies. I met this couple while walking, I'll call them uncle and aunt. They are so cute, I like them. I asked for permission to take a picture as a souvenir.

Two couples came for a pre-wedding photoshoot, while I came alone.

No, I'm not envious of anyone.

Faced with this situation, it's better to cross the mountain. Walk behind the staff's accommodation, there will be a way down. Then we will see the other side of the mountain. It's not very high, but it's tiring.

"Beautiful pose. Candid shots are a must."

Another one, still encountering "Ah Ah Ah" frilly work.

Back to the tent, it's better. Oh, hey, I found a friend. When I'm lonely, haha.

As the sun began to set, the temperature dropped significantly. During the night, strong winds and frigid temperatures prevailed. Of the three tents that were set up in the morning, one was destroyed, forcing me to sleep in the car, which provided much-needed warmth. The two couples who slept in the remaining tents complained of a sleepless night due to the extreme cold.

There were approximately five shower rooms last night, but there were dozens of people waiting in line. I felt that I should make a sacrifice, so I decided not to shower.

Embrace the dawn of a new day, January 2nd, 2017. The wind continues to blow strong, raising hopes for a sea of mist. And yes, there is mist, scattered and shimmering. It's truly breathtaking.

Let's take a break from the drowsiness. After Khao Chang Suk, we will continue to Pilok Mine. But, let's leave that for next time.

On the top of Chang Suek Hill, only AIS has a phone signal. I use Dtac, but I don't know if True has a signal.
