Perhaps, from another perspective, the setting sun signifies not a farewell, but a pause. A moment to rest the mind peacefully, to find joy in the stillness of each passing day.

This post will take you on a journey to witness the sun from various corners of Thailand, excluding the north (as I haven't been there yet!). As an avid traveler, I always make it a point to catch the sunrise or sunset during my adventures. You could say I'm a bit of a lonely soul who enjoys sharing stories with the sun.

Start here at Koh Tao, Chumphon Province. The sun sets, leaving the world of light behind for that day in a lonely and desolate way. For those who have the opportunity to visit Koh Tao, don't forget to stop by and admire the beauty of the sun. Because let me tell you, it shines brightly with its beauty, making it a sight to behold.

However, every time it is about to leave, if everyone observes carefully, it will always remind us, or from another perspective, it is telling its story. And I like to interpret the meaning of its story as four stories, which are:

The image's brilliant light, tinged with the hues of the sky, embodies the joy of the sun's journey on that day.

The second image depicts a blinding light obscuring the sky, while the sea is awash in shades of orange and red, signifying its exhaustion.

The third image depicts a soft, orange-hued light, suggesting a sense of loneliness, mirroring my own as I sit and converse with it.

The faint light reflected on the water in Figure 4 signifies its farewell, but it is a farewell to embark on a new beginning. (This is just my perspective.)

If we look with the imagination of happiness, everywhere we go is always beautiful.

Location 2: Trang

On the shores of Bang Meng Beach, after visiting the various islands, I sat down to watch the beautiful sunset. I must say, it's just as stunning as Koh Tao. What I mean by "just as stunning" is the feeling of loneliness. Haha, just kidding! It's beautiful, as always. And as usual, with the four different sky conditions, we see that the sun sets in a similar way (or maybe I'm just imagining it, haha).

Lost in contemplation, I gazed aimlessly. The atmosphere intensified the feeling of loneliness, I must say.

Scene 3: Ratchaprapha Dam, Surat Thani

The scenery here is just as beautiful as anywhere else. To see the sunset, we had to take a boat out from the raft and hurry because the sun was setting very quickly. And we were not disappointed. The sun showed off its beauty in a truly impressive way.

Location 4: Phu Kradueng National Park

Shifting our focus to the northeast, the breathtaking sunrise atop Phu Kradueng is a sight worth the arduous climb. While the ascent may be challenging, the panoramic view of the rising sun offers a unique and captivating beauty.

Fifth Place: Ang Nam Phan, Udon Thani Province

This newly opened spot is similar to Huai Krathing, offering stunning sunset views. It's easily accessible and comfortable, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing swim while admiring the breathtaking scenery.

After the sunset, there must be a sunrise. Now, let's take a look at the sunrise. The difference in color is clear. During the sunset, the sun is bright and fierce, but during the sunrise, it is so gentle.

The first stop is **1 Phaen Nang Prai at Ratchaprapha Dam**.

**The Ratchaprapha Dam, also known as the Cheow Lan Dam, offers a comprehensive tourism experience. Visitors can witness both sunrises and sunsets. For those seeking a unique experience, I recommend staying at the Pha Ngan Prai Resort, which is located near a sunset viewing point and offers stunning sunrise views from the accommodation itself.**

Location 2: Phu Kradueng National Park

Here, too, the sun is a complete package, both rising and setting. We can find it here, a place where beauty is exchanged for fatigue. To see the beauty, you have to walk and walk. But if you ask if it's worth it, it's definitely worth it, haha!

Location 3: Phu Pha Dak, Nong Khai Province

**Phu Pha Dak: A Hidden Gem in the Mountains** Phu Pha Dak, a lesser-known peak nestled near Phu Huai Isan, offers an immersive natural experience. Unlike its neighboring mountain, Phu Pha Dak prohibits overnight stays, requiring visitors to seek accommodation elsewhere and hire local guides for their ascent. The trek to the summit, while shorter than that of Phu Kradueng, rewards hikers with breathtaking views. The majestic sunrise, a spectacle worth the climb, paints the landscape in vibrant hues.

This is my journey to capture the beauty of the sun. I encourage everyone to visit these places, as each offers more than just sightseeing. By focusing on specific aspects, we can discover hidden depths and create unique experiences. My passion for the sun has led me to capture its essence in various forms through photography. Thank you.
