Hello, Chiang Mai!

This trip departed from Bangkok by plane to Chiang Mai province, taking about 1 hour. Then, I took a red car from Chiang Mai city to the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek Park. I arrived around 1 pm and took a leisurely walk to buy a ticket. The weather today was not cool at all, even though it was winter, the weather was very hot.

Rajapruek Royal Park, formerly known as the 60th Anniversary Celebration Garden of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, was established to commemorate the 60th anniversary of His Majesty's reign on June 9, 2006, and his 80th birthday on December 5, 2007. It is an agricultural tourism destination, a center for learning about world garden plants, with various plant species on display, agricultural exhibitions, and other educational activities for youth and the general public. It also serves as a research and education center and a meeting place for farmers. The park features beautiful landscaping.

The park entrance is less crowded on weekdays than on weekends.

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission fees for Thai nationals: Adults 50 baht, Children 25 baht. Admission fees for foreigners: Adults 100 baht, Children 50 baht.
