The story begins with the chaotic life of a city dweller in Bangkok, a city of hustle and bustle where the body never gets a break. The air is polluted, people are stressed, life is fast-paced, and the streets are filled with cars. So why would I want to escape this city to a place with incredibly fresh air, a morning cup of tea, a delicious bowl of rice porridge, and a breathtaking view? And so, I set out to find a tourist destination during the long Father's Day weekend from December 3rd to 6th, 2016. I searched through every mountain I was interested in, and then I stumbled upon a page for tourists about Doi Ang Khang. The journey was said to be quite challenging, but I wasn't fazed by the long legs. Because I always believe that a difficult journey will always lead to a beautiful destination.

Embark on a journey to a hidden paradise: Doi Angkhang.

(But) when you look at Doi Ang Khang as a whole, it's incredibly charming.
Don't be shy, I'm serious.
You have so much charm, you're so beautiful.
I want to lean in, the more I look, the more charming you are (the more I look, the more charming you are...).

Six friends from work gathered and booked bus tickets with Sombat Tour for their first backpacking trip to Doi Ang Khang. As none of them had been to Doi Ang Khang before, they were determined to make their mission a success. They were eager to leave their busy city lives behind and spend three relaxing days and two nights in Ang Khang.

Are you ready to travel with us? "Hello, Treasure Tour, your travel companion." We have now safely brought all passengers to our destination, Chiang Mai. And here we are in Chiang Mai.

Hellooooooooooo Chiang Mai, my dear.

Day 1 in Chiang Mai

We then took a red car from the Arcade Bus Terminal to the Chang Phuak Bus Terminal. To continue our journey, we will get off at the front of Wat Hat Chao Samran, which is located at the foot of Doi Ang Khang. This is because it is very expensive to rent a car from Chiang Mai to Doi Ang Khang, and it is not worth it. Therefore, we will make this trip as economical as possible. 555555555+ Traveling in a real adventurous style, Long Legs, Stepping Across Thailand.

"An army marches on its stomach," as the saying goes. So, before embarking on our journey, we decided to grab a bite to eat near the bus station. We chose a restaurant close to the Chiang Mai - Tha Ton bus stop, as we had a 30-minute wait before our departure.

Buses from Chiang Mai to Tha Ton depart every 30 minutes. There is 1 bus per departure. Remember to inform the ticket seller that you wish to disembark at Wat Hat Chao Samran.

Ready to go, full stomach, and then set off on a journey

The journey from Chiang Mai city to Wat Hat Yai takes almost two hours. The bus will stop for a 20-minute bathroom break in Chiang Dao district, allowing passengers to stretch their legs. Upon arrival at the temple, visitors can rent a car to ascend Doi Ang Khang.

The route we took from Chiang Mai city - Chiang Dao - Fang is quite steep but comfortable to drive. If you are confident in driving uphill, you can rent a car from Chiang Mai city.

Doi Mon Son Campsite

A tent that costs hundreds, but the view is worth millions. Oh my god, why is it so beautiful?

Those interested in reserving tents with the national park should aim to arrive at the peak before dusk, as the best tent sites with scenic views tend to be taken quickly. While some individuals bring their own tents, the park does not accept advance tent reservations. Alternatively, tents can be rented from local villagers, but these sites are located further away from the restrooms. Therefore, it is advisable to arrive before the afternoon. Our group arrived around noon, and our two tents had already been set up by the park rangers. We simply had to choose which ones were available.

After traveling all night, we took a shower and got dressed. Since we had some time to spare, our driver took us to the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station, the first royal agricultural project in Thailand, established by the King. The station is located about 7 kilometers from the Mon Son viewpoint.

The entrance fee to Angkhang Royal Agricultural Station is 50 baht per person.

We will be extremely happy, like taking a break from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and releasing our happiness into the air. Some people work so hard that they never travel, never enjoy life, never spend money. Then you will know that it is worth it to come and experience the good atmosphere, the beauty of nature, the food, and the lovely people. It makes you happy to travel, like "Khayao Yao, Khao Tua Thai".

Before returning to our accommodation, we stopped for dinner at the Doi Ang Khang market, where the temperature gradually dropped.

Day 2 Good morning สวัสดียามเช้า

The program for Day 2 includes: Viewpoint at the edge of the cliff, 2000 tea plantation, Norn Lae hill tribe village, Thai-Myanmar border

A million-dollar view with an atmosphere unlike anything you'll find in the city. It doesn't get any better than this. This is the ultimate way to experience nature's bliss.
"Watch the sunrise, mist floating past your face, sleep in a tent in style, wake up surrounded by nature."
"Gaze upon the beautiful mountains bathed in sunlight, alternating with lush green forests. Birds soar through the air, delighting the heart. Thailand's tourist destinations offer a variety of seasons." By Long Legs, Walking All Over Thailand.

We stopped for breakfast at the Khun Kon Viewpoint on Doi Ang Khang. The food here is Yunnan Chinese style, but it is said to be very delicious.
