"Electric Vehicle Ferry" on the vast expanse of the Pasak Chonlasit Dam, a hidden gem in Thailand.

This marked our first opportunity to experience the atmosphere firsthand, having followed the story for several years.

The highly anticipated return of the Unseen Railway Tourist Train is finally here!

This year, the service will be open for a total of 6 rounds, namely on January 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2017.

With fares (round trip) starting from

Bangkok, Sam Sen, Bang Sue, Bang Khen, Lak Si, Don Mueang, Rangsit, and Ayutthaya stations cost 270 baht.

Saraburi and Kaeng Khoi stations, 110 baht.

Kaeng Seua Ten Station, 60 baht (standing ticket)

Tickets can be booked at any train station or by calling 1690 (5 days in advance).

For the best views, choose to sit on the right side of the train.

Many people have never traveled by train, and they may have many questions.

Are you hot? Are you comfortable? Have you been sitting for a long time? Are you tired?

Forget those questions, because the only thing you'll find is a train that will take you there.

The captivating scenery along the way will invigorate you, and the final destination of this trip will leave you in awe.

We began our journey from Don Mueang Station.

The train was delayed by about 20 minutes, but this is the charm of the train. If it were on time, it wouldn't be a train, would it?

While waiting for the train, it is recommended to buy something to eat in advance, as once you board the train, watching people around you arrive with their own provisions can be a tempting sight.

It can actually make us feel hungry (I've been there).

And then our train arrived.

This sightseeing train is a third-class carriage. The interior appears clean, and the seats are still quite new.

As we mentioned earlier, to secure seats with stunning views, it's recommended to book the right side of the train. However, the only drawback is that you'll be exposed to the morning sun, which is still preferable to the afternoon sun.

We booked our tickets without knowing anything about the seating arrangement, and ended up with seats on the left side.

The journey was accompanied by beautiful roadside scenery (the view on the left side of the road was accompanied by power lines throughout the journey).

The allure of the train, with the wind constantly blowing against our faces and the rhythmic sound of the wheels lulling us, eventually lulled us into a peaceful slumber.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of the passengers on the right side opening the sunshade startled us awake.

With excitement, she turned to look. "We're almost there! I can see the water!"

The train stopped on a bridge over the water, allowing passengers to disembark and take photos for 30 minutes.

This is the point where we mentioned that the train is the only way to get here, and it doesn't come often. This year, there are only 6 days available.

Don't miss out! You might not have another chance next year.

30 minutes passed quickly. We couldn't contain our excitement. Everyone boarded the train again and continued to the final station.

Upon reaching Khok Salung Station, the train reversed direction, allowing us to revisit the scenery we had just passed. However, this time, there was no stop for taking pictures.

Arrived at Pa Sak Cholasit Dam Station

The train will stop at this station for everyone to disembark, and we will have 3 hours to explore. The train will return to pick us up.

This is our first time visiting the Pa Sak Cholasit Dam.

"The officer holding the red flag will guide you to the bus for a tour of the dam crest."

"The officer holding the orange flag will guide you to the aquatic animal exhibition center."

An announcement from the staff at the Pa Sak Cholasit Dam, who are waiting to take everyone on a tour of the dam.

We opted to take a scenic drive along the dam crest first, as it was the most time-consuming option, taking approximately one hour.

The cost of a sightseeing tour of the dam crest is 25 baht for adults and 10 baht for children.

Our tour bus has arrived.

The Pasak Chonlasit Dam is located in the provinces of Lopburi and Saraburi. (It is a very large dam.)

A large group of cyclists came to ride together.

We have now arrived in Saraburi province. The bus will stop for 15 minutes to allow us to pay respects to Luang Pu Yai Pa Sak.

The car then took us back the way we came. It was a truly large and beautiful dam.

We then continued to the aquatic animal exhibition center, which many children enjoyed, and we did too.

Next, continue walking and you will find a spot where you can feed the sheep and goats with milk.

Another activity that we believe is perfect for families and children is horseback riding and carriage rides.

Golf cart rentals are available for those who prefer a leisurely ride. The rental fee is 500 baht for 2 hours, making it an ideal option for families with elderly members.

Glancing at the time, we have one hour left to grab a bite and explore the local OTOP products.

And now, the time has come, the final moments of this trip. The fun is over.

The train arrived early and departed on time.

This trip has come to an end. In short, it is an unmissable experience. Opportunities like this don't come around often.

Many people might think that there is nothing interesting about it.

Beyond the floating train, we gained a deeper understanding of the "King's Dams" project.

The immense benefits that our father has bestowed upon all of us.
