Choo choo, chugga chugga
The train to Korat farted loudly and reached Ratchaburi
Oops... I mean, the train to Chachoengsao has arrived!
I'd love to take a train ride. Where should we go? Somewhere we can do a round trip, maybe somewhere nearby. How about Chachoengsao? It's close by.
We can go pay respects to the Buddha to welcome the new year. Most importantly, we can find something to eat at the 100-year-old Ban Mai Market.
It's a market that's not far from Chachoengsao Junction Railway Station.
There's a wide variety of food available, and you can take a boat to enjoy the natural scenery. You can also take a boat from the market to Wat Saman Rattanaram.
And not far from the market, you can also go to Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan (Wat Luang Pho Sothon) to pray for blessings.
It's not far from Bangkok and doesn't require a lot of budget (depending on how much you eat, haha).
Alright... then let's go this Saturday.
Let's check the train schedule.

Ready? Ready, then let's clear our stomachs and go!
When will the train arrive?
Hooray! It's here!
The roadside is full of rice fields and green meadows.
It's not far from Bangkok.
Plus, the weather is nice today, with a cool breeze blowing since morning.
It makes you want to face the wind without feeling sticky.
It took almost an hour to reach Chachoengsao Junction Railway Station.
But it was an almost hour that was very fast because I kept looking at the scenery and forgot about the time.
When I arrived at Chachoengsao Junction Railway Station, I walked out to the front and there were tuk-tuks, three-wheeled taxis, and two-row cars available.
I could choose where to go.
If you don't know which one to take or what color the two-row car is, you can ask the people around or look at the side of the car to see where it's going.
The people are very kind and will give you all the advice you need.
As for me, I went to the market first...
An army marches on its stomach, right?
I took a two-row car to Ban Mai Roi Pee Market. It didn't take long, just a short while, and I arrived. The market is not far from the train station.
We almost missed it, haha. Luckily, an uncle in the car heard me asking the person next to me where to get off.
When we reached the front of the market, the uncle told me to get off at this stop if I wanted to go to the market.
If you're sitting in the car and you see the market sign on the right-hand side, get ready to press the bell to get off.
We have arrived at the Ban Mai Roipy Market in Chachoengsao.
Feeling hungry? Let's dive into the market!
Indecisive hunger pangs strike, tempting the palate with both savory and sweet delights, leaving one spoilt for choice.
I finally made it to this restaurant. I've heard about their "kway teow pak mor" for a long time, so I had to try it.
The atmosphere behind the shop, but this shop is a Pad Thai shop next door, which is just as delicious.
The table seems a bit small for the order.
Before moving on to dessert, let's take a walk to digest. Here, they have a boat that worships traveling to worship at Wat Saman.
Visitors can also enjoy a scenic boat ride along the canal, which provides access to Wat Thepnimit and Wat Phra Non Krachok temples.
Here is the uncle who will take us. Uncle, can we go with 4 people? Hehe.
"No problem," the uncle said casually.
Along the way to Wat Thepnimit
After paying respects to the Buddha and making offerings, those who wish to feed the fish may do so here.
The uncle smiled.
The market also has public relations to provide services to tourists.
It's time for our dessert.
After a satisfying meal, they proceeded to pay their respects at the temple.
After paying respects at the temple, there was still time to spare. We decided to find a riverside cafe to sit and enjoy the view of the Bang Pakong River.
The cafe, Thanam Cafe, offered both indoor and outdoor seating.
It was time to head back.
While waiting for the train, we decided to grab another bite to eat.
Goodbye, Chachoengsao.
We'll be back for more delicious food soon.
