Return to visit the Rim Nam Hua Ta Khee Market again.

This is my second time visiting this market. I was so impressed by its classic atmosphere that I had to come back for another visit.

This time around, things are different from before because the camera we brought to take pictures is a "film camera".

To capture the classic ambiance of this riverside market, the photos should evoke a sense of nostalgia.

The first trip with my new camera, a Canon EX Auto 50mm F1.8, using Kodak Color 200 film.

The camera measures light exposure probabilistically, as it does not use a battery for light metering.

We drove into Soi Ladkrabang 17 as usual.

Drive to the far left on the one-way road and turn right to find a spacious parking lot.

After that, walk back across the wooden bridge to explore and find something to eat at the old market.

I arrived early this morning, and most of the shops were not yet open.

Fortunately, some shops were already open, so we stopped by to grab a bite to kill time.

Renowned for its delectable noodles, Pae Seng Restaurant also offers a diverse menu featuring Hainanese chicken rice and char siu rice. During our visit, the restaurant was bustling with patrons, prompting us to indulge in its culinary offerings.

Besides the Pae Seng Restaurant, the market offers a wide variety of enticing small eateries, including shrimp dumplings, stir-fried noodles with oysters, steak, sticky rice with papaya salad, and even cozy cafes like Na Lat Krabang and Si Yaek Hua Ta Khae 2. At these cafes, we enjoyed coffee, desserts, and spicy instant noodles.

This restaurant, located at Sai Yaek Hua Ta Khee, serves delicious Mama Tom Yum.

Walk straight until you reach the paint shop at the Huatake intersection. There will be a bridge to cross to the other side.

The riverside atmosphere here remains relatively peaceful. The main source of noise is the occasional long-tail boat passing by.

While boats are still a common mode of transportation here, they are mainly used by adults for commuting.

Another notable aspect of this market is the abundance of impressive graffiti art. The murals are visually striking and seamlessly integrate with the community's aesthetic.

This market is not very long, nor is it a major tourist attraction. A quick walk will take you through the entire market, allowing you to capture some of the old riverside atmosphere.

If you enjoy riverside markets and have some free time, consider visiting the Huai Ta Khek Market for a variety of snacks.

Lาดกระบัง offers a variety of delicious restaurants and a relaxing riverside atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a quick getaway without venturing far from home.
