Unlimited seafood buffet for all three meals at 1500 baht per person, including accommodation in a wooden house surrounded by mangrove forests.

The pristine air and the sight of fishermen casting their nets in their small boats, seeking sustenance from the waters, create a serene atmosphere. The intermittent phone signal allows for a temporary disconnection from the outside world, encouraging immersion in the raw beauty of nature.

Note: TrueMove has strong signal here.

We arrived at Khlung Riverview with a group of six, each paying 1,500 baht. We arrived around 6 pm as the sun was setting. We used GPS to navigate, driving along the beachfront road of Laem Sing Beach. We passed numerous homestays that we had found online, all located along the road and lacking the desired connection with nature. Initially, we assumed that homestays in Chanthaburi would be similar, but we were pleasantly surprised.

However, upon arriving at Khlong Riverview, it was unlike any other. This homestay is located in a mangrove forest, and the journey there is not difficult. The homestay allows check-in at noon, but we arrived very late, almost 6 pm. The homestay then postponed today's lunch to noon tomorrow.

The evening atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with a gentle breeze providing a refreshing coolness. There is no need for air conditioning or fans, and even the mosquitoes are absent. Despite purchasing three packs of mosquito repellent, it remains unused.

Anglers are advised to bring their own equipment as the homestay does not provide any. The homestay's pond is teeming with fish, and any catches must be surrendered to the homestay. However, there is a natural pond behind the homestay where guests are permitted to keep their catches.

We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 PM. The main reason we wanted to come here was for the seafood buffet, especially the unlimited crab and shrimp. However, the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM, which we initially thought was too early. We quickly started devouring the crab and shrimp, with several trays making their rounds. The crab and shrimp would have been bland without the delicious seafood dipping sauce. We refilled our dipping sauce as often as we refilled the crab and shrimp. By 8:00 PM, we were starting to feel full and realized that the time we had was sufficient. We continued to enjoy drinks and conversation until we were ready to leave.

Spicy papaya salad, made to your liking.

Setting an alarm clock to capture the sunrise resulted in this single photograph.

I need to go back to sleep. 5555 Last night, we brought back supplies to eat in the room. We finished late, but we are not allowed to bring food back. Ice is free, plain water and soft drinks are free throughout the trip, but soda has to be purchased.

The morning has arrived, let's continue. This kind of atmosphere cannot be found in the city. Absorb it as much as possible. Breathe in the fresh air deeply.

A knock, knock, knock echoed at the door, followed by a shout: "Breakfast is ready!"

Wow! Imagine savoring a bowl of sea bass congee with shrimp, accompanied by stir-fried rice noodles with crab.

The Pad Thai noodles were not particularly impressive, but it depends on individual preferences. I opted for a second helping of rice porridge with generous chunks of sea bass. This meal was part of a buffet, so feel free to indulge in refills.

With a full stomach, I took a leisurely stroll, slowly soaking in the atmosphere of the homestay.

And when the relentless angler must adorn the prestige of his rod with a fish.

The notorious fish, once thought invincible, finally met its match against the deadly fishing rod.

The food arrived at noon, as we had requested the day before. As always, every meal here is refillable. We didn't want to disappoint our homestay hosts, so we asked for more fish and tom yum soup. Haha!

While there were many activities available, our late arrival unfortunately prevented us from participating. However, we have no regrets as the experience itself was well worth the 1500 baht price tag.
