We have already spent time at the romantic, peaceful, and heartwarming Lake Como in the previous episode.
This morning, we are scheduled to travel to a city that many people like to compare to Bangkok as the Venice of the East. Yes, our destination today is Venice, and it will be the last city on our European adventure.
Today's journey will take us to Venice by train. The train we booked departs from Varenna-Esino station at 10:37 am. However, we will need to return to our starting point at Milano Centrale station in Milan to catch another train to Venice. With that in mind, we dragged our luggage to the train station, remembering to return the apartment key to its original location, just as we had done when we picked it up.
They dragged their bags in an orderly fashion.
Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Upon arrival, there was still over an hour before the train's scheduled arrival. Big Brother and Little Mouse decided to take a stroll to the riverside market in hopes of finding some souvenirs. However, they were disappointed to find that the market stalls were still empty. They returned to the station just in time for the train's arrival.
Take a walk while waiting.
Stop at Lecco station
We took a train back to Milan to board a Euro City train to Venice. This train likely originated in Switzerland, judging by its appearance. One of the advantages of train travel is the opportunity to experience different types of trains. Each train we rode was unique. The seats were comfortable, and upon boarding, we simply matched the seat number on our tickets to the number above our heads or on the seatbacks. We made sure to sit in the correct seats to avoid being asked to move later. The only drawback was the small size of the table in front of the seats. Passengers sitting in the aisle seats did not have enough space to fully place their belongings on the table. This made it difficult for the beautiful mother and daughter who were sitting next to my older brother and younger sister to place their water bottles. It's a shame, but Italian girls are undeniably beautiful. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the young daughter.

There is also a small table available for use.
Beautiful Italian girl found on the road
The train here departs on time, and as soon as it is time, the train departs. The scenery along the way is beautiful. It is a pity that the video I took while riding the train is shaky and not as beautiful.
One of the most popular stations for disembarking passengers is Verona. This is because Verona is a city where many people want to relive the love story of Romeo and Juliet. However, we have already had our fill of the sweet atmosphere, so we will pass on this city.
Our final destination is Venice, but it is important to remember to get off at the Venezia Santa Lucia station, the last stop. This is because the station is located on the island of Venice itself. If you are not careful and get off at the previous station, Venezia Mestre, you will be on the mainland and not on the island.
For us, if we don't sleep on an island like this in Venice, it's like we haven't been here. We have to make the most of our trip. Getting off at Venezia Santa Lucia station will also give us the experience of riding a train over the water. Let me tell you, the view is amazing. If you don't believe me, check out the pictures I took.
A beautiful scene as the train passes through the water.
Our journey finally came to an end at Venezia Santa Lucia station on the island of Venice as planned. Upon exiting the train station, we were greeted by the bustling streets of Venice.
You have arrived. Please follow the crowd and exit through the front of the train station.
Stepping out of the train station, the vibrant blue water that greeted us left no doubt that the coming days would be filled with joy.
