This small shop is located in the Indy 2 village (Pracha Uthit 90). The owner has converted the space next to their house into a garden with a few seats to welcome guests to come and taste the mochi and other menus at their home. Although the space is a bit small, the owner's friendly service makes you feel warm and welcome, like visiting a friend's house. Customers come and go constantly, but due to the limited space, if you come in a large group, you may have to wait.

Transportation

This restaurant is recommended for those who have a car, as it is located in the Indy 2 Village on Pracha Uthit 90. The village itself is not on a main road. Upon arrival at the village, inform the security guard that you are visiting Homu Restaurant. There is ample parking available within the village. (The restaurant is a corner house.)

The ambiance of the shop is cozy and intimate, offering a small and quaint space to enjoy a cup of tea during the pleasant hours of the afternoon.

The shop offers a wide variety of mochi, all of which are tempting and made fresh by the husband-and-wife team. However, due to their limited staff, some menu items may sell out quickly on weekends. It is recommended to call ahead to check availability, as we missed out on several dishes during our visit. Fortunately, we were still able to try three delicious options.

The mochi dumplings we ordered were the last plate, and they were delicious.

A sweet and fragrant mochi, perfect for dipping in red bean paste. Not too sweet, it's a delightful treat.

This dish features soft warabi mochi, coated in ground soybeans, and served with a brown sugar sauce.

While you wait for your mochi, the shop offers complimentary hot tea to enjoy. (This hot tea is free of charge.) It pairs perfectly with the mochi menu.

All three dishes were delicious and satisfying. It's a shame that the recommended menu was sold out. If you're interested in trying it, I recommend stopping by. It might be a bit far, but you can call the restaurant for directions or use Google Maps like we did to avoid getting lost.
