This is a video of our program before the story begins in Ubon.

Please give us your feedback.

If you only have time on Saturdays and Sundays, you can actually travel to the end of the country.

After work, we clocked out at 4:30 PM and rushed to the train station. For this trip, we met up with four friends.

The original plan was to go on a camping trip with a barbecue at a faraway location. After some deliberation, the group decided on Khong Chiam.

"But Saturday-Sunday with a distance of more than 700 kilometers, is that enough? Let me tell you right now, it's enough. It's so damn fun. But how do you spell it? Anyway, it doesn't matter. It's not our story. Let's find trouble in Ubon Ratchathani."

The introduction is sufficient. Let's move on.

We started from Bang Chi station, and another group of friends bought tickets from Hua Lamphong.

Can we call each other friends? We haven't met in person yet, but we know each other from Facebook and we're going on a trip together. Haha!

My friend who accompanied me to Bang Sue, whom I have known for a long time but haven't seen in a while, invited me to ride the train together.

Relive the old atmosphere like when we finished vocational school, taking the train from Cha-am to Hua Hin. Still, still, let's get to the point.

We departed from Bangkok according to the train schedule, which is 18:55, to arrive in Ubon Ratchathani in the morning. The schedule indicates our arrival time as 06:15. Hopefully, the train will not be delayed.

The train arrived shortly. Passengers with tickets took their seats, while those without stood. We had a ticket, purchased for 205 baht for a third-class seat, ensuring a comfortable 12-hour journey.

Every time we travel by train,
We are always excited about the journey.
I don't know why, but it always makes me think about the past.
It's like going back in time to that day.

The morning view from the train window is beautiful. The scenery of the Northeast is truly breathtaking. The fresh air blows away the sleepiness. Looking at the clock, it's almost 6 o'clock, which means we're nearing our destination.

Join us on this weekend trip to the far reaches of Thailand, covering over 700 kilometers to Ubon Ratchathani and the Khong Chiam district. Nothing can stop us when we're determined to explore. Let's embark on this journey together.

The destination station is Ubon Ratchathani Province. The train is not late. We arrived here around 6:00 AM.

We took a white songthaew for 10 baht each to Ubon Ratchathani Transport Station first, as we were unsure of how to proceed with our journey.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the transportation station. Buses to Khong Chiam depart every hour and cost 80 baht. The journey takes about an hour and a bit.

How can we reach our destination? Pha Taem, Pha Chanadai, or a waterfall?

After inquiring, we learned that motorbike rentals are available here for 300 baht per day. We received this information from a steakhouse.

Before traveling, check the condition of the car carefully and take pictures as evidence, just in case.

Before we set off, let's have some dinner first. We each ordered a dish and a bowl of rice to enjoy a delicious meal. Tonight, we'll party.

This area has a fresh market, 7-Eleven, and Lotus's. You can buy any ingredients you need here. There are no more shops once you leave the city.
If we have enough supplies, we can start our journey. Let's go to Pha Taem National Park first.

Driving to Pha Taem is not ideal for camping due to its status as a popular tourist destination. The presence of numerous visitors and the lack of suitable camping facilities would make it an impractical and potentially disruptive experience.

We decided to find a campsite first, leave our belongings there, and then come back to explore the area. So, we set out to find a suitable campsite.

We stopped by the campsite at Pha Taem, which seemed to be close to the Sao Chaliang pillars. We intended to take some photos there.

After setting up the tent, we encountered a problem. The car wouldn't start. We were stranded in a remote location with no one around to help.

How do I do this? .....

Everyone loves! Firno --* But luckily, there is an officer already, so I asked for help from the officer of Pha Taem.

However, I was at a loss. So, I called the rental shop back. They told me to push it down. Crazy! Who would push it down?

We decided to leave the car with the officer first and then walk down. The question is, why did we rent a car in the first place?

We didn't walk long before a motorbike passed by. "Where are you going?" the rider shouted.

We will go to the main road. We will walk there. We will go there now. --*

Despite being heavily intoxicated, he generously drove us both home twice. We are incredibly grateful for his kindness.

We offered a token of appreciation to our elder brother, allowing him to withdraw another 3-4 bottles, which should be sufficient. Good luck, brother! The kindness of the people of Ubon Ratchathani made us dance with joy. It wasn't just any ordinary dance, mind you!

Reaching the main road wasn't difficult. Cars passed by frequently. I flagged down the first one, and it stopped right away.

The image depicts a truck transporting manure. The strong odor is reminiscent of lavender. Despite the unpleasant smell, the driver's kindness is greatly appreciated.

The sign indicated a waterfall ahead, including Namtok Lor Ru and Namtok Sornsawan. We decided to visit and see what it was like.

We were walking for a while when suddenly a van appeared out of nowhere. We saw the van passing by and decided to hop on.

We boarded a fertilizer truck, and everyone on board sat quietly. I sincerely apologize for this oversight. T T

The driver said that there will be a lot of people at Soi Sawan Waterfall and that cars will pass by frequently. He also asked how I got here on foot.

My car broke down, so I parked it at Pha Taem National Park. Haha! It wasn't too far, maybe 15 kilometers. I paid the driver 20 baht per person.

We believe that if we go down, they will definitely gossip about us. 55555 Apologies, we didn't take any pictures. We were really sitting in awe.

We have now arrived at the Namtok Sroi Sawan National Park. The entrance fee is 30 baht per person.

People kept asking us how we got there, and we just said we hitched a ride. 😂 However, we weren't allowed to bring the things we bought from the market inside.

I left it at the fort, at the service point in front. I'm tired, let me play in the water for a bit first. We'll talk about the rest later.

The vastness of the Mekong River is breathtaking. If we reach Pha Chanadai, the view will surely be even more spectacular.

I saw it with my own eyes.

Is it worth renting a motorbike and then taking three more rides to get somewhere?

Let's take a break and explore how beautiful the Soisawan Waterfall is. But wait, we came to see a waterfall, right? Where is the waterfall?

As we continued our exploration, it became evident that the rocks here were incredibly ancient.

Given the millions of years of erosion, perhaps we've exaggerated a bit. Haha! Let's continue walking.

Found the way to the waterfall. The water will flow down continuously. We have to go down this way. It's the fastest way, otherwise we have to walk around that way. Entrance

Do I really have to jump? It's pretty high, about 5-6 meters. After a while, an uncle came up and jumped. Haha.

He also gave the camera a thumbs up, haha.

However, at my level, I can't swim. Please go down with me and take some pictures. Haha.

"Hey, could you take a picture of me? I'll stand here smiling while you take the photo."

How's the view? Haha, I'm going down to the waterfall. I'll follow you down.

The water level is quite high, with a strong current. This is the Sa-roi-suwan Waterfall, where we rented a car and then hitched a ride. It was quite an adventure!

The waterfall is absolutely stunning! It was definitely worth the long journey to see it.

This realization makes us aware of the insignificance of human existence in the grand scheme of nature.

It's past 5 pm now. How are we going to get back to the main road to continue our journey?

The officer suggested we sleep at the front of the house, where there was a large open space.

We can sleep here. Should we bring the tent? Yes, let's bring it. It will be comfortable. However, there is no electricity here.

This bathroom is pitch black, but that's not a problem. However, if we were on the main road in this darkness, it would be a problem. We're better off sleeping here.

Ultimately, we did not reach the Pha Chana Dai cliff, but we did get there by hitchhiking.

Who would have thought? We carried everything just to have a barbecue on this special night.

However, there are some shops outside, so we got some drinks and another plate of papaya salad with fermented fish sauce. We were good to go.

The kettle and pot were borrowed from the staff, making things much easier.

The show has begun! Although there are no lights here, we have... uh... fireflies? No, wait, that's not right. Haha!

Though we may not reach our intended destination, the memories we make with friends along the way are what truly matter.

It was an amazing night, one we'll remember for a long time. But... how are we going to get back tomorrow? Haha, that's the problem now. But we'll figure it out later.

Following the instructions of the park ranger, we woke up early to catch the first light of dawn, a sight that can be enjoyed here as well.

The appearance of the first light depends on the weather conditions here. Let's wait and see if we can see it. Haha!

While it may not be the first light, we believe that just this view is enough.

Traveling 700 kilometers from Bangkok, the further away you are, the closer you are to nature, as they say. But who said that?

Let's take a picture ... Click. And add some sound effects too.

It seems like there might be a path leading further ahead, similar to the one we took to play with the fabric yesterday.

Staying here is not a bad idea. There's no one around, just the four of us walking in the park.

This area also features a spacious lawn. A sign indicates that it is a flower field, offering a different kind of beauty.

I still don't know how I'm going to get back.

Before leaving, there were still some leftover ingredients, so I decided to make a dish with everything that was left. I threw everything into the pot and boiled it.

Don't be alarmed, we didn't carry this pot ourselves. We borrowed it from the vendor in front, from the shop over there. The auntie is very kind.

Everything is included, chili, garlic, so it looks like this.

Eat what you can, discard what you can't. Haha, but why is it so delicious?

After packing your belongings, please ensure that everything you brought up is taken back down without exception.

The next generation, who will come to the tent, will be beautiful and feel good as we feel.

Although we have never met in person and only know each other through Facebook, upon meeting in real life, we felt...

We are very close, or perhaps it's because of the experiences we've shared together, the heat, the sun, the waves we've ridden together. Or maybe it's something else that makes me feel this way.

And become closer. If I came alone, it would be bad. The same goes for you. You have to try it yourself to know how it feels...

It's time to go home now. We'll talk to the officer here, and they'll volunteer to take us back.

"Wow, you're too kind! I appreciate it. But go ahead, it's more convenient. If I hail a taxi, I don't know when I'll reach the exact spot where our car broke down at Pha Taem."

It is unclear whether we will be able to descend or not. We sincerely thank the staff at Namtok Saroe National Park.

To reiterate, this is a real image, not a staged one. The individuals depicted in the image...

The people are real, not actors. The cars you see are also real.

Haha, very cool! Carrying a car on a car, haha. I wonder why you rented a car for 300 baht if you didn't use it, haha.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to Thongchai, a park ranger who generously drove us and transported our vehicle, which proved to be a significant burden throughout our trip.

Return the steak to the restaurant in Khong Chiam. When you get there, please also refill the oil.

"I asked if they wouldn't reduce the fare for me. I didn't go anywhere."

They also came to tell me that you have already driven half a tank. ..... Okay!! I will remember that.

We also gave a token of appreciation to the person who delivered the goods. We don't know how to thank them again. How can we thank them again?

We arrived at the fresh market in Khong Chiam. We asked about the bus schedule and were told that buses depart every hour, with the last bus leaving at 4 pm.

The vendor said that the bus would arrive in half an hour, but we didn't know what to do. We saw stairs on the opposite side, so we decided to walk up them.

The top might be a viewpoint or a temple. Let's go up and see.

Let's get down to it.

Although the first light was not seen, this story was truly better than expected.

Despite the car breaking down, we were determined to continue our journey.

They continued to hitchhike until they reached… Ultimately, the kindness of the people…

The car rental company left us stranded. Can someone please help us get back to the city?

Despite everything, we still find joy.

I'm glad you guys came on this trip with me.

Amidst the misfortune, there was a silver lining, as we gained valuable insights and forged meaningful friendships.

This trip, we each brought a little over a thousand baht.
The return bus fare from Ubon Ratchathani to Bangkok was another 400 baht per person.

We apologize for any errors in the information provided.

This trip, we have to say goodbye for now. See you in the next story.

Come out, it's not much. Just come out and you'll gain experience.

See you then ...

Come with us.
