Hello : ) Hello everyone, I'm Fuse.

Have you ever wanted to travel abroad but were afraid of not knowing how to get around, getting lost, or the language barrier? Singapore was my first choice for practicing traveling abroad on my own. Let's see how easy it is to travel in this country.

With a total area of 719.1 km², which is half the size of Bangkok, and a comprehensive transportation system throughout the country, Singapore can be explored entirely by train.

Today, I have compiled a travel plan for you that is relatively easy and convenient, with short travel distances.

Moreover, the prices of airfare, accommodation, and attractions are quite reasonable. If you're looking to try traveling abroad, I recommend this place. It's affordable, easy, comfortable, beautiful, and has everything you need.

Before traveling abroad, it is essential to research your destination, including attractions, ticket prices, food costs, recommended spending money, clothing needs, and weather conditions. Here is a summary of my findings:

We are now ready to explore the Singapore MRT system. Before we begin, let's understand the five main lines:

I took all five colors of the train when I went, it was very easy. Compared to Japan, Singapore looks easy. Let's go on a trip : )

From the post that made me a little famous, the post "From a jar to an oppa" This time, the title of the post uses the word "oppa". Consider it my signature. Don't be jealous of me. I'm not that into it. Haha And this review post will have a lot of pictures of me, so let's call it Oppa's Travel Guide ^^

One more thing, when we get on the plane, the air hostess will give you a Singapore Immigration Form. Please fill it out like this.

Day 1 Itinerary:

  • 07:10 - 10:30: Travel from Don Mueang Airport to Changi Airport.
  • 10:30 - 12:00: Check in to Hotel Nuve in the Bugis district.
  • 13:00 - 17:00: Visit the Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands mall, and Helix Bridge.
  • 17:00 - 18:00: Return to the hotel and relax.
  • 18:00 - 21:00: Explore Haji Lane, grab dinner at Liang Seah St., and shop at Bugis St.

Note: The original text mentions that the author was unable to sit by the window on the plane. This information is not included in the translated itinerary.

I see Singapore.

Upon arrival, complete the immigration form and have your passport and flight ticket ready for inspection at the immigration checkpoint. Men usually face fewer issues, while women may experience more thorough checks. However, if it is evident that you are a tourist, there should be no problems.

Cleared immigration smoothly, ready to rock and roll! ^^

Take the Sky Train to Changi Airport Station.

Found it! The train station at Changi Airport.

Join the queue to purchase Ez Link. When I was there, the queue was quite long. I waited in line for about 30 minutes. Please wait in line.

We bought Ez link cards for 12 SGD each and had to top them up at the machine. I added another 20 SGD. Ez link cards can be used not only for train rides but also for paying for food at 7-Eleven stores. It's a good idea to top up your card for snacks.

First time taking the train in Singapore, a little excited >,,<

We have arrived at Bugis Station, near our accommodation.

The Bugis area is beautiful, with many shopping malls and tall buildings. The view is unique.

We have arrived at our accommodation, Hotel Nuve. Luckily, the staff here are Thai, so check-in was a breeze. They even gave us some recommendations for places to visit.

A room for 2,800 baht per night, 2 nights. A small room for sleeping, showering, and air conditioning is enough.

Pack your bags, wash your face, get dressed, and get ready to go!

Located right next to my accommodation and very close to a 7-Eleven (less than 100 meters away). My first meal in Singapore was two rice balls and a box of spaghetti, which cost a total of 15 SGD. It's quite expensive.

To reach the Merlion, take the green line from Bugis station to Raffles Place. Exit via exit H and walk towards the Fullerton Hotel.

Walk behind the Fullerton Hotel, there will be a crosswalk across a large intersection. Across the street, you will find the Merlion.

Found it! Merlion & Marina Bay Sands

After taking photos to your heart's content, walk past the Esplanade Theatre and you will find a sports field in the middle of the water. They are also holding a Chinese New Year event.

Grabbed a quick bite for 1 SGD a cup.

Passing the sports field, you will find the Helix Bridge. The bridge is very beautiful.

After crossing the bridge, we entered the Marina Bay Sands mall for a quick visit. The mall is beautiful and spacious, with a river running through the center. Visitors can even enjoy a paddle boat ride.

Walking through Marina Bay Mall and crossing to Garden by the Bay, a famous tourist destination in Singapore. It's very beautiful, but the weather is a bit hot.

Seeing people on the top floor made me want to go up there too. Let's buy tickets for a bit. It's 8 SGD per person for the ride up.

The view from above is amazing. The wind is very strong, so those who are afraid of heights might feel a little dizzy. But it's worth it, the view from above is beautiful.

The trip is complete. I have returned to my accommodation. I took a picture before leaving.

I just took the Downtown Line from Bayfront Station to Bugis Station. The Bugis+ shopping mall is beautiful, here are some photos.

After returning to my accommodation and freshening up, I ventured out for a night stroll. I first headed to Haji Lane, but the nighttime lighting wasn't ideal for capturing good photos. Instead, I crossed over to Liang Seah Street, where I found a plethora of dining options, many offering buffets at around SGD 20-30 per person.

After lunch, we went shopping at Bugis St., which is similar to JJ Market in Thailand. It mainly sells souvenirs such as keychains and snacks.

Walking through Bugis St., I happened to come across the Chinese New Year festival celebrated by the Singaporeans. It was no wonder that Bugis St. was less crowded, as many people were celebrating at home.

After walking, I came across an ice cream shop. Each ice cream cost 1.2 SGD. It was unique, with crackers sandwiched around square ice cream. It was delicious.

After taking in the sights, I returned to my accommodation to rest.

- Day Two Itinerary -

  • 07.00 - 08.00 : Travel from Bugis to Harbour Front
  • 08.00 - 09.30 : Have breakfast at Vivo City, walk across to Mount Faber and take the cable car at Mount Faber Station
  • 09.30 - 14.00 : Visit Sentosa, Universal Studios and S.E.A. Aquarium
  • 14.00 - 15.00 : Return to accommodation and rest
  • 15.00 - 18.00 : Travel from Bugis to Chinatown and visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
  • 18.00 - 20.00 : Visit Boat Quay and enjoy the atmosphere

Early morning departure, wear shorts and be prepared to walk a lot today.

The morning atmosphere is very good.

Travel from Bugis to Harbour Front with a transfer at Outram Park station.

We had breakfast at Vivo City. This plate of rice with curry cost 10 SGD, which is equivalent to 250 baht. It's expensive.

After a hearty meal, we embarked on a hike up Mount Faber, the highest point in Singapore. The climb was strenuous, but the lush greenery and stunning views made it worthwhile.

We are almost at the top, I can see the cable car now.

I would like to purchase a pair of tickets at Mount Faber Station. I only intend to visit the S.E.A Aquarium. I originally wanted to visit Universal Studios as well, but there are too many Chinese tourists during Chinese New Year, so I will just go to S.E.A. instead.

The price of the unlimited cable car + S.E.A. Aquarium ticket is 63 SGD, which is approximately 1575 THB.

Tickets purchased, let's ride the cable car!

I've been riding the Ferris wheel for 5 rounds. I got a buffet ticket, so I'm going to sit here for a while. Haha, the city view is so beautiful. I love it.

After riding the cable car to our heart's content, we disembarked at Sentosa and headed straight to Universal Studios. We couldn't resist taking a few photos.

After capturing some heartwarming photos, let's continue to the S.E.A. Aquarium.

Tickets purchased from Mount Faber. You can go straight in. There are still a lot of people, but it's beautiful here. If you like fish, you can watch them for a long time.

The first tank is a shark tank. Walk slowly, haha.

I really like the Yellow Tank saltwater aquarium.

I also saw a dolphin show.

Take a picture with the fish.

A zoom-in view of a marine aquarium with vibrant colors.

The large round tank in the center of the S.E.A. Aquarium.

The end of the tunnel is a huge aquarium. Sitting here and chilling for 30 minutes is truly enjoyable.

On the way back, there were crabs to see.

There are actually more photos than this, but I have selected only the beautiful ones to show you.

After leaving S.E.A. Aquarium, I went to take photos of the Sentosa atmosphere. There is also a Merlion in the middle of Sentosa.

After that, take the cable car back to Mount Faber Station again.

Take the train back to Habour Front station and continue to Chinatown. Let's keep the tour going!

There are many beautiful buildings in Chinatown.

I arrived at the China Town walking street. It was drizzling when I went, so there weren't many people around.

Walk past the walking street market, turn right, and keep walking until you reach Wat Phra Kiew Kaew. The temple is very beautiful.

Let's take a look inside the temple. The interior is almost entirely designed in red.

I'm getting tired, can I take a break for a bit? ^^

Grab a bite to eat on Smith St. near Chinatown.

After eating, I went shopping.

Where to next? Haha

I'm going back to my accommodation to rest for a while. I'm exhausted. I'm walking back from Chinatown straight to Bugis.

After recharging at the accommodation, I continued walking to Boat Quay. I traveled from Bugis to Raffle Place.

The Fullerton Hotel at night is also beautiful in a different way.

We have arrived at Boat Quay, a street lined with numerous premium restaurants. Look at the enormous crabs!

Is that the crab you're going to eat? Isn't it too big?

Continue walking and you will find an underpass beneath the bridge. The walls on both sides of the underpass are painted with graffiti.

Passing under the bridge, I took a quick photo of the rainbow bridge.

We're back at the accommodation, completely exhausted. Haha!

From the 2nd day onwards, enjoy panoramic views of Boat Quay.

- Day 3 Itinerary -

  • 07:00 - 07:30: Travel from Bugis to Dhoby Ghuat
  • 07:30 - 09:00: Visit Fort Canning Park
  • 09:00 - 10:00: Breakfast and travel to Orchard
  • 10:00 - 12:30: Shopping at ION Orchard
  • 12:30 - 13:30: Return to Nuve Hotel and collect luggage
  • 13:30 - 14:30: Travel from Bugis to Changi Airport
  • 14:30 - 17:10: Immigration, check-in, and Duty-Free shopping
  • 17:10 - 18:30: Arrive safely in Bangkok

This morning, we will visit Fort Canning Park. Travel from Bugis to Dhoby Ghuat.

After exiting the subway, cross the street and you will find the tunnel where Thai people love to take photos.

Popular angle, haha

It will be a very large park. Walking around will definitely tire you out.

There is also a hotel in Fort Canning Park.

Take a long walk and take pictures.

This area was once a battlefield during World War II.

It's huge! No matter how I take pictures, I can't capture it all. Enough of this, let's go shopping!

Back to the original tunnel hole. I love this hole so much, haha.

There is a long walkway next to the tunnel.

Let's grab some noodles at this subway station. It's delicious and affordable.

Travel from Dhoby Ghaut to Orchard.

Similar to Siam in our country, where Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Paragon are connected.

Here, there are ion orchard, isetan, and many other department stores. Let me have a picture, haha.

Isetan Department Store

The weather is nice today. It's cloudy and there's no sun, but it's perfect for taking pictures.

The upper floors of ION Orchard are filled with luxury brands, making for a less enjoyable shopping experience. For a more vibrant atmosphere and diverse selection of food options, head down to the basement levels, where you'll find a bustling crowd and a wider variety of dining choices.

I came across a very tempting Seastar.

One bag, please. I'm eating alone, haha.

I'm back at the Nuve Hotel packing my bags, getting ready to head home.

After checking in and dropping off my luggage, I still had some money left, so I decided to do some duty-free shopping at the airport. Haha!

Charles & Keith is a famous Singaporean brand. The prices here are half of what they are in Thailand, so I bought several bags to bring back as gifts for my family.

Next, a Singaporean specialty: half a kilo of pork jerky, please.

The trip is over. I have to go back now. Flight FD354 back to Bangkok.

This concludes my Singapore travelogue. I apologize for any typos, omissions, or inaccuracies. This was my first solo international trip, and I hope this post is helpful for those planning a trip to Singapore.

Thank you to all the readers who have visited my post. If you enjoyed this review, please give it a thumbs up or share it. I would greatly appreciate it.

Stay tuned for my next travel adventure. Until then, farewell!
