Phuket - Surin Islands, Phang Nga - Ranong - 4 Emerald Heart Islands, Burma

Only have time on weekends? Why can't you travel luxuriously!
With just this time, you can visit 5 islands, 3 provinces, and 2 countries comfortably.

When the body craves "Vitamin sea"

The Andaman Sea, a top choice for many, is a must-visit destination.

Stunningly beautiful, to the point where I'm too lazy to type "Y. Giant" again.

However, this time, collecting only Andaman in our country is not enough for E-Choi.

We will sail all the way to the Andaman Sea on the Burmese side, our neighboring country! (Humming the ASEAN Solidarity song along)

We need to depart on Friday evening after work. Most domestic airlines depart from Don Mueang Airport. Imagine the traffic on Vibhavadi Road on a Friday evening... tears will flow without you realizing it. Not to mention being rejected by taxis because they say they are going to "deliver gas to their younger sibling" (wait, are you going to deliver a car or fill up gas? Choose one). Therefore, our solution is Suvarnabhumi Airport!! We can easily take the Airport Rail Link there. I found out that VietjetAir has a route from Bangkok to Phuket. They fly 3 times a day: morning, afternoon, and evening. And they depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport!! Yayyy!! (The ticket price is also suitable for our low income T-T) It's perfect!! It's worth it!! (Am I selling something...? No, it's up to you. It's a round trip for less than a thousand baht. You can just drag your luggage onto the Airport Rail Link after work. Well, is it convenient or not? Think for yourself.)

The next morning, we departed from Phuket and took a one-hour car ride to Phang Nga. We had booked a trip with Wow Andaman, which included transportation from our Phuket accommodation to Phang Nga. Upon arrival at the pier, we were greeted with a breakfast spread while listening to the guide's briefing. We then proceeded to collect our diving equipment, including masks, life jackets, and fins, ensuring a proper fit before boarding the boat. Fortuitously, the boat was filled with tourists from Europe and Korea, as Wow Andaman is a popular choice among Westerners. This realization sparked an idea for underwater photography. (I discreetly scanned the skimpy swimsuits of the blonde men on board.)

Initially, I had no expectations for breakfast, as most of the options I encountered were merely sustenance.

However, the food here is surprisingly delicious. I devoured three cups in no time.

Our Surin Islands trip program will begin with a visit to the Moken village.

Upon arrival, it is noticeable that all Moken people share the surname "Klatalay," which translates to "brave sea."

We later learned that it was a surname bestowed by the Queen Mother.

It's no wonder the children of the Kla-Talay family are so fearless in the water. Even at a young age, they're diving and swimming like mermaids.

The next diving spot is Nemo Village!

As expected, Nemo's home, the anemone, can be found right there.

At lunchtime, the boat will take us to Surin National Park for lunch. (This trip includes three meals and drinks and snacks on the boat.) After lunch, it is recommended to walk to the back of the island. The beach is beautiful, and many foreigners will be sunbathing. You can stop by and gossip about them. 5555

Our swimsuits barely had time to dry before we set sail again for the Andaman Sea in Myanmar!
In addition to traveling from Phang Nga to Ranong by land,
we can also transfer by boat from the Surin Islands.
A boat from Grande Travel, a Burmese travel company, will pick us up at the pier.
[We need to inquire about the details again, as this route may not have daily departures.]
Even if we have to take a car from Phang Nga to Ranong to visit the Burmese sea, we still think it's a very interesting route. We highly recommend it.

(I asked the guide at Wow Andaman in Phang Nga, and they are friends with Grande Travel in Ranong...so all the convenience falls on us 5555)

Our trip included visits to four islands:

Yai Nua, Ko Khok, Ko Ta Fu, and Ko Hua Jai

Accommodation is available on Koh Yaan and Koh Ta Fuuk for those who want to spend the night relaxing in the middle of the sea.

Booking accommodation in advance is highly recommended for a romantic getaway with your partner. The tranquil atmosphere, reminiscent of a secluded island, offers a perfect setting for a relaxing escape. Imagine the gentle breeze caressing your skin as you stroll along the sandy beach, hand in hand with your loved one.

Oh my god, hey you, do you want to sleep with me? Hmm?

Grande travel's lunch… comes in a reusable lunch box. Oh, don't you just love it?

Yancheuk Island, Zedetkyi Island

Yancheuk Island, Zedetkyi Island

Another highlight for us is Koh Ta Puk.

The beach is incredibly beautiful.

Fine sand like powder, stepping on it will make you float.

I long to roll in the sand, letting the waves crash over me all day. Ah, the bliss.

The Burmese Sea is considered to be very rich in underwater life.

The coral reefs, gorgonians, and sea anemones are incredibly diverse and stunningly beautiful.

The Burmese guide explained that even Burmese people themselves have limited access to this type of tourist attraction.

Fortunately, there is a beautiful sea like this near our house.

Thai people who are going to visit their beach, please take care of yourselves.

Some types of coral grow only 10 cm in a year.

It has blossomed to this size.

Heart Island, Cock's Comb Island

The final meal of the trip was a buffet at the Grand Andaman Hotel on Koh Lanta, where we dined amidst the fading light of the day.

** Additional note: After visiting the four islands in the Burmese Sea, we can return to Bangkok from Ranong on Sunday night. However, our trip returns the next day, so we have a little time to visit Ranong and Phuket. **

Before heading back, we still have time to visit Ranong and the old town area in Phuket.
The food in Ranong and Phuket is not bad at all, you know. Can you miss it?

Nisra Fried Chicken, a must-try restaurant.
