#Stargazing Beach or Kaeng Chom Dao, Ubon Ratchathani Province

- Located in Ban Non Tal, Na Ta Luang District, Ubon Ratchathani, approximately 20 kilometers before Sam Phan Bok. Hat Chom Dao is a vast and extensive rocky beach with strange rock formations, similar to Sam Phan Bok. During the rainy season, these rocks are submerged in the Mekong River. The swirling water erodes the rocks, creating numerous small and large pools, resulting in a natural rock sculpture with an unusual appearance that sparks the imagination. Hat Chom Dao resembles Sam Phan Bok but has a larger area and more diverse rock patterns and strange shapes. Some areas have concave recesses, while others are layered, and some are dry land with small and large pools of varying shapes. Hat Chom Dao's most stunning feature is a tall, jagged rock formation that resembles a narrow channel with flowing water and a small rock in the middle where visitors can stand and pose for unique photos. The ideal times to visit are in the morning and afternoon. Avoid visiting at midday due to the intense heat. If you want to see the sunrise, arrive before 8 a.m., as the sun rises quickly in Ubon Ratchathani, with the sun appearing as early as 5:30 a.m. Another suitable time is in the afternoon, starting around 4 p.m. Allow approximately 30 minutes for walking. The best time to visit is between November and May.
