The Mangrove Forest Study and Conservation Center for Ecotourism in Chonburi Province was established in 2001 to conserve over 300 rai of mangrove forest and provide opportunities for local residents and tourists to experience and learn about the mangrove ecosystem firsthand. This initiative promotes ecotourism and has received significant support from both government and private sectors. The center officially opened on February 5, 2004.
