Pakpra Village, Phatthalung Province >> Witness the Giant Lifting Ceremony at Khao Yoi

...This is my first time visiting this place, and I am deeply impressed by the life of the seafaring people here. I have seen many people post pictures of this place, and I have always wanted to come and see it for myself...

This is not the sea, but a large and important canal in Phatthalung Province. Located in Ban Pak Pra, Khuan Khanun District, Pak Pra Canal is where various rivers converge before flowing into the lagoon. Therefore, Pak Pra Canal is like a river mouth, a gathering place for various aquatic animals, making it a local fishing ground. Villagers in Pak Pra catch aquatic animals in the traditional way. What is striking is the "giant yo" or large-sized yo, which is the only place in Thailand. This is the charm and uniqueness of this place.
