Hello! The sun is as big as a goose egg these days. There are still opportunities and time to watch the sunset.

Where is a good place to watch the sunset? Which tourist spot is good? It's none other than Bang Pu, which is known as one of the most beautiful sunset viewing spots in Samut Prakan.

I stopped by for a visit and took some pictures to share. This place is only 15 kilometers from our house, but we only visit it once a year. 555

If it's only 15 kilometers from our house, why don't we come here often? The road is not one that we usually take, and it's not on our way to work or anywhere else. We can only come here if we specifically intend to.

Bang Pu Recreation Center is located on Old Sukhumvit Road, and there are many ways to get there. Personally, I would recommend a new road that will be built in the near future. It will connect Bang Na, Khlong Khut, and Theparak, and it will lead directly to Bang Pu near the entrance of the recreation center. This will be the most convenient route.

The road will have 8 lanes, and most importantly, there will be less traffic than on Sukhumvit Road. (The bridge over the intersection is currently under construction, but the road itself is already completed.)

The original route is: Drive from Bangkok on Sukhumvit Road to Samut Prakan. When you reach Samut Prakan city, look for the sign "Chonburi, keep left". Follow the route from the Provincial Hall to Bang Pu Recreation Center, a distance of approximately 12.27 km. If you come from Srinakarin Road to Samut Prakan city, follow the road to the end and then turn left onto Sukhumvit Road (old road). From that point to Bang Pu Recreation Center, the distance is approximately 11.10 km. You will see the entrance on the right-hand side. Drive straight to make a U-turn. The U-turn is closed again. During the festival, there are a lot of people.

Opening hours: Daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

During peak season, such as winter, it can be difficult to control the number of tourists, who often stay until dark. However, we know the drill.

When the sun sets, pack up your camera and head out as soon as possible.

Before the massive crowds, hundreds of cars, and thousands of people rush out like bees escaping a hive.

A vivid comparison can be drawn between the current situation at Bang Pu and the past. In 2015, the number of visitors was moderate, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

However, the abundance of mosquitoes contrasted sharply with the scarcity of birds, presenting an unexpected and somewhat ironic situation.

December 2016, what a difference a year makes. Looking around, there are as many people as there are birds.

It's like the people are watching the birds, and the birds are watching the people. Haha!

This time, we were satisfied, even though there were a lot of people. But we got to see the big, round sun.

For two days before we came, we noticed that the sun was beautiful, so we didn't miss the chance to visit.

Because Bang Pu Seaside is known as one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset.

Note:

Thousands of seagulls migrating from Siberia to escape the cold can be seen daily during the winter season.

On the Sukta Bridge, which stretches far out into the sea, people are enjoying the sight of the seagulls and taking photos.

Bang Pu Seaside Resort offers accommodations and restaurants for tourists.

However, during peak season, even the extensive parking lot may not be sufficient. I have personally experienced this, being unable to enter the parking lot.

Some visitors park on Sukhumvit Road and walk in, which can be faster.

If possible, it is best to visit during the week when there are fewer crowds.

For stunning sunsets like the one in the picture, check the weather forecast a day or two in advance to ensure a successful trip. The picture was taken on a Sunday, when the crowds were particularly large. As a result, I recommend leaving immediately after sunset.

Another popular landmark in Samut Prakan, perfect for sightseeing and photography.

Every time we visit, we capture unique images due to the ever-changing nature, colors, sky, and surrounding atmosphere.

These elements combine to create a distinct experience each year.

Thank you for watching.

Bang Pu Recreation Center. See you again next year. ^^
