This summer, we are super excited to travel to the East Coast.
We feel that the East is a great location.
Both in terms of attractions, there are many beautiful beaches here, fresh seafood, no need to mention.
And in terms of fruit gardens that are in season, ready to be picked and taken home in baskets.
The abundance is here! And today we invite everyone to come visit here..
Rayong: A Hidden Gem Worth Exploring
Rayong, often overlooked by travelers, is a charming province with much to offer. While many pass through on their way to other destinations, Rayong's capital city deserves a closer look.
This itinerary is designed for a short, relaxing trip, perfect for a weekend getaway. With just two days and one night, you can experience the best of Rayong, from trendy cafes and photogenic locations to cultural and religious sites.
Day 1:
Crystal Jade: A Stylish Accommodation
Crystal Jade, despite its name, is not a Chinese restaurant but a stylish hotel conveniently located on the main road. Its prime location makes it an ideal base for exploring the city.
...
While the hotel may not be the trendy, cool style that appeals to young people,
for this trip with my parents, it was a great fit and catered perfectly to our family trip.
The convenience and service here are excellent, meeting the standards of renowned hotels.
Crystal Jade Hotel offers exceptional value for money.
With prices starting from just over a thousand baht, the hotel provides an unparalleled level of comfort and convenience.
The rooms exceeded my expectations. They were spacious and well-designed, resembling furnished condominiums ready for immediate occupancy.
The room includes a bedroom area, a sofa seating area, and a work desk.
A TV is provided, along with a DVD service that allows you to borrow movies to watch in your room.
The living space is truly spacious, with a balcony area.
There's also a kitchen zone, separated from the bedroom by a door.
For those who want to heat up food, the kitchen is fully equipped.
There's a microwave and a refrigerator, making it as convenient as being at home.
In addition to the various amenities within the room,
this property also offers a fitness center.
The hotel's dining area is second to none.
The dining area is quite spacious and not cramped.
It is ideal for those who are looking to host a company party or come to stay in a group.
If you are planning to hold a reunion, we think this place has got you covered!
The breakfast buffet here is extensive.
This restaurant offers a diverse range of cuisines.
From Thai dishes like stir-fried rice, stir-fried basil, and fish porridge
to Western breakfast options, there's something for everyone.
This place is known for its delicious Chinese cuisine.
From stir-fried noodles to baked chicken with sauce, and even dim sum and steamed buns, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat options here.
So, feel free to come back for more!
After a satisfying savory meal, don't forget to indulge in some fruit and pancakes.
The batter was so fluffy and soft that we couldn't resist stacking three layers!
No, it's not the pancakes, it's our bellies! We're so full that our stomachs are bulging out. XD
In conclusion, we believe this hotel provides a sense of security and comfort.
It maintains high standards in both service and amenities.
It is ideal for family trips, offering a comfortable and worry-free environment for parents.
The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options at a reasonable price, making it a great value for money.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Rayong or looking for a place to stay.

Here are some recommended places to visit in Rayong:
1. Hat Saeng Chan (Saeng Chan Beach)
A Tranquil Escape: Exploring a Secluded Beach
This beach, conveniently located near Sukhumvit Road, offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. A short drive from your accommodation, you'll find yourself immersed in tranquility before the car's air conditioning has even had a chance to cool down.
The beach's peaceful atmosphere invites relaxation and rejuvenation. Spread out a picnic blanket and enjoy the solitude, far from the crowds and commotion of other popular destinations.
The beach here is not just white sand.
The cool thing is that there is also a long line of rocks.
Stop by to stand and breathe in the sea air and take some cool photos.
The rock formations act as a natural dam, creating small pools of water along the beach.
The sea here has strong waves and currents, so swimming is not recommended.
This location is more suitable for taking photos and having a picnic on the beach.

2. The Central Pagoda
If Phra Pathom Chedi is the symbol of Nakhon Pathom,
Rayong has The Central Pagoda, an ancient landmark.
A historical check-in point. If you don't stop by, Rayong people will say you haven't arrived. XD
Built almost 150 years ago, the central pagoda holds great significance.
In the past, when transportation was limited, boats were the primary mode of travel.
The then-governor of Rayong, Phraya Sri Samut Phokhachai Chitsongkram (Ket Yimjinda),
conceived the idea of building the pagoda. He wanted it to serve as a landmark for travelers,
signaling their arrival in Rayong.
For those visiting during the Loy Krathong festival,
witness the long-standing tradition of the "Water Pagoda Robe Ceremony".
A procession arrives by boat, draping red cloth over the bell-shaped structure.
This act signifies reverence and worship of the pagoda.
The festival also features boat races and the floating of kratongs, creating a lively atmosphere.

3. Mangrove Forest Viewpoint in Honor of His Majesty the King
Who would have thought that there is still a mangrove forest in the city of Rayong?
The view is comparable to that of the Thung Prong Thong mangrove forest, and most importantly, it is easily accessible and not too far away.
The highlight of this place is not just an ordinary mangrove forest, because it has an observation tower.
It can be said that it is an interesting conservation-based tourist attraction.
The distance for nature study is only about 400 meters.
Most importantly, it's free!
Rayong's cityscape offers a stunning panoramic view.

After exploring the chic locations, we recommend another unseen place in Rayong:
4. Wat Pa Pradu
An ancient temple, believed to have been built during the Ayutthaya period.
Besides its sacredness and being a spiritual refuge for Rayong residents,
it is also home to a reclining Buddha statue.
This reclining Buddha is unique in that it lies on its left side, unlike most reclining Buddhas which lie on their right side.
It is also an ancient statue that has been influenced by Dvaravati art.
In addition, there is an old church that most people like to visit.
They pass under the church to avoid bad luck and bring good fortune.

And of course, while you're in Rayong, don't miss this restaurant.
5. Raiyong
The name of the restaurant gives it away: it's located in Rayong.
This chic restaurant is situated on Yomjinda Road,
a charming old town community.
If you visit on a Saturday night, you'll also find a walking street here.
The old wooden building is classic. The shop has now expanded to the other side.
It's a white shop, but it still retains its stylishness.
Personally, I admire the store's decor, including the furniture and furnishings that complement the ambiance.
While waiting for your meal, order a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.
Served in a stainless steel glass, it's sure to cool you down.
In this old-town setting, why not try some traditional Thai food?
'Chicken Kway Chap' comes with a generous amount of toppings in a flavorful broth that's light and not too heavy.
Next up, the 'stir-fried chicken noodles' were delicious.
Not greasy at all, the addition of black pepper and chili sauce enhanced the flavor even more.
Moving on to lighter options, the 'Melon Salad' is served in a generous half-melon portion.
Sweet melon and apple are tossed in a refreshing dressing and sprinkled with raisins, sliced almonds, and black sesame seeds.
This dish is bursting with juicy flavors, perfect for fruit lovers.
Another menu item that you should try is '100-year-old Mieng Kam', a traditional Thai appetizer that has been enjoyed by generations from mothers to children.
Piper sarmentosum leaves are filled with various ingredients and topped with Mieng sauce, then wrapped and eaten in bite-sized pieces.
It's not only delicious but also healthy.
Topped off with a hot roti drizzled with condensed milk, leaving you perfectly satisfied.

A Short Trip to Rayong
This is a short 2-day, 1-night trip to Rayong. If you haven't planned anything yet, we recommend visiting Rayong.
It was a simple trip where I could fully relax. Most importantly, it's not far from Bangkok by car.
And this is just a part of Rayong. There are actually many other interesting places.
If I have the chance to visit again, I will find more interesting places to share with you.
