"Kanchanaburi, a province in western Thailand, boasts a diverse range of tourist attractions, including the majestic Phra Buddha Metta Pracha Thai Trai Lokanath Kanthararat Anusorn statue. Situated within the Wat Thep Sirintharam temple, this towering Buddha image stands as a prominent landmark visible from afar, adding to the province's scenic beauty."

The history of the Phra Phuttha Metta Pracha Thai Trai Lokanath Kantarat Anusorn in the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, initiated by Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan, the former abbot of Wat Chana Songkhram, stemmed from the intention to create a large Buddha statue, 32 meters high, representing the 32 perfect physical characteristics of a human being. This statue would serve as a center for reverence and worship for Buddhists and as a memorial to the Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan. Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan named this Buddha statue "Phra Phuttha Metta Pracha Thai Trai Lokanath Kantarat Anusorn," commemorating the Bamiyan Buddhas.

Nestled within the serene grounds of Wat Tip Suwanaram, the revered abode of the Metta Buddha statue, lies a captivating oasis of tranquility and beauty.
