Once, my friends and I had the opportunity to relax on a private island in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Mun Nok. This island is part of the Koh Mun archipelago in the Klaeng district of Rayong province and is home to only one resort. We started our journey from Bangkok and boarded a boat at Laem Tal Pier in Ao Khai, Klaeng district. The resort provides a modified fishing boat to pick up guests daily at 1:00 PM. As our blissful time on the island drew to a close, we bid farewell to this paradise. However, instead of returning on the resort's boat, we had another mission to accomplish. We chartered a speedboat at a reasonable price, as it was necessary for our journey to another island.

Another island to visit is Koh Man Nai, which houses a sea turtle conservation center. It's worth a quick stop. While Koh Man Nai may not be as visually stunning as Koh Man Nok, it offers a delightful natural environment with clear water and fresh air, providing an equally enjoyable experience.

This sanctuary houses sea turtles of all ages, including adults, juveniles, injured turtles, and hatchlings. The center provides care and rehabilitation for injured turtles and nurtures hatchlings until they are ready to be released back into the ocean.
