You'll gain merit, travel, and make new friends.

You'll find good friendships that are hard to find in today's society.

Let's see how amazing this trip is!

This time, we'll take you on a trip to the north again.

This trip, we volunteered to take photos for our senior in Chiang Mai.

Coincidentally, our senior and friends were going to organize an activity at Doi Wawi, Chiang Rai.

So we said yes, let's go with you, senior! 55555

So we packed our bags and got on the plane.

The plane ticket to Chiang Mai was also discounted, oh my! 345 baht, good for student wallets.

Listening to music, watching fluffy clouds, chilling out.

We have arrived. Whew, it's so hot! -"-

The first thing to do when arriving in Chiang Mai is...!!!

Go eat Khao Soi at my favorite restaurant 555

This restaurant is located on Wua Lai Road.

It's so delicious, I love it so much!

After a satisfying meal, they went to pay respects to the Buddha for good luck.

I recommend a massage shop.

Nong Pa Krang Massage Shop, 100 baht per hour.

The aunt's massage is so strong that it reaches my large intestine.

Oh, it's so good.

Visiting Chiang Mai? Relax with a Coffee at DOLCETTO

Nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai, DOLCETTO offers the perfect escape for coffee lovers seeking a relaxing atmosphere.

Strong coffee and fragrant waffles.

Beautiful music, hmm... ^^

We're not stopping here!

Before we head back to rest and prepare for tomorrow's journey, we need to stock up on belly fat. And the perfect dinner for us tonight… is a challenge!

Shabu Shabu Shabu Shabu Shabu!!!!

Location: E-PA SHABU

Nimmanha Road, opposite Warm Up Chiang Mai.

I stayed at my friend's house last night for free!!

Hehehehehe

As for this morning's journey... I can't really call it morning

(I just woke up in time for lunch TT)

As for this afternoon's journey

Ahem

We will be going to do volunteer activities at.."Doi Wawi, Chiang Rai"

The atmosphere on both sides of the road can be described as...hmm...

Super chill, like, really chill.

Doi Wawi: A Village of Tea and Tradition

Nestled in the mountains of northern Thailand, Doi Wawi is a large village inhabited by the Chinese Haw people. This community boasts a unique charm, not only for its stunning natural beauty but also for its deep-rooted connection to tea cultivation.

For generations, tea has been the lifeblood of Doi Wawi, providing both sustenance and cultural identity. The village's residents have honed their skills in growing and processing tea, resulting in a product renowned for its exquisite flavor and aroma.

Despite its remoteness, Doi Wawi remains untouched by modernization, preserving its traditional way of life. The red earth roads and the villagers' dedication to their craft offer a glimpse into a simpler time, where nature and community intertwine.

Following the lead of our 30-year-old companions, we, as young children, embarked on our journey. (5555) We transported our belongings to the lodging provided by the locals. It was a homestay with excellent air quality. Our caretaker, Ms. Moo, was incredibly kind.

We came in a group of 8 people, 4 people per room.

The accommodation is a fan room.

It was very quiet at night, so we slept comfortably.

The weather was cool enough that we didn't need to cover ourselves with a blanket.

However, if you come during the winter, it might be a bit chilly.

So, you should be prepared with winter gear.

We had a meeting last night to assign tasks.

It was quite serious,

as we have to take care of almost 50 children tomorrow.

Good morning!

We had breakfast before leaving.

It was cooked by Ms. Moo.

Ms. Moo is a good cook. She also cooked for us last night.

She also lent me her guitar to play. ^^

The radiant faces of women in their 30s

Clothes, hair, and makeup are ready!

Let's go all out today!

Let's get to know Doi Wawi a little better.

This mountain is home to 13 different ethnic groups,

including Akha, Musoe, Lisu, Yao, Karen, Chinese Haw, and others.

This diversity has resulted in a rich tapestry of cultures and traditions,

with each group having its own unique clothing, houses, and language.

Despite their differences, the people of Doi Wawi live together in peace and harmony.

A 15-minute drive will get you there. We will be transporting goods to the church today for an event.

Children in orphanages in this community are affected by

family problems such as divorce,

drug problems in the family,

and poverty of parents who lack jobs and land for farming.

These problems have a wide-ranging impact on children,

who lack warmth, care, and food.

These children are at high risk of entering the human trafficking cycle

because they are forced by the poverty situation that their families are experiencing.

Upon arrival, we began with icebreaker activities.

The children here were very cooperative.

So happy! ^^

Next activity, led by March.

To help students get to know each other better, they were divided into groups.

Each group then came up with a logo to represent themselves.

The next activity will be led by P'Yong.

"Creating art from everyday objects"

The children are very focused.

The award ceremony is now complete.

Before we break for lunch,

we played another round of games with the children.

This round was a game that allowed the children to get closer to each other,

to do things together, and to build unity among them.

I must say that the children here are very competitive. They fought hard!

Let's take a break for lunch.

The villagers have prepared food for us.

There is "nam ngiao", omelet, and stir-fried beans.

The taste is delicious in a home-style way. Thank you very much for your kindness.

We have about half an hour left from our break.

Let's explore the surrounding villages.

Explore the area at your own pace.

There are plenty of photo opportunities.

We absolutely love it! Every corner is charming.

Due to limited time, we could only explore that much.

Back to the afternoon activities.

Crafting from scrap materials.

We will let the children each craft a bag.

It can be used as a wallet or to hold small items.

The children look very focused.

Before leaving, we played another round of games with the children.

This time, everyone had a lot of fun.

Seeing the children's smiles made us happy that they were enjoying themselves.

We can't describe how we felt in words.

All good things must come to an end.

It's time to go home, but the children don't want to leave.

They are all looking sad.

Please let me go home, children! 55555

Deeply touched by the kindness of everyone here.

Grateful for the smiles of everyone who smiled at me.

It gives us the strength and motivation to do more volunteer activities like this.

Goodbye, Doi Wawi.

Young philanthropists,

Thank you to the seven seniors who invited us to participate in this meaningful activity.

The route to the destination is the same as the one to Doi Chang.

However, drive along the RPHC. Baan Tin Doi - Baan Mai Mok Jam Road.

The distance is 55 km. The first 22 km is an asphalt road.

Winding up the mountain, the road surface is full of potholes.

Pass the岔路to Doi Chang, Baan Tung Prao, Baan Huai Khrai.

Then it is a gravel road for another 13 km until Baan Pong Klang Nam.

Then it is an asphalt road for another 20 km.

Pass the checkpoint of the Border Patrol Police at the 237th Wawai Wittayakom School.

Wawai Village is on the left hand side, a large community that is clearly visible..

After relaxing and taking care of various errands, we had a small hotpot party on the mountain. It was so delicious that we almost poked each other's eyes out with our chopsticks. We ended the party with a large herd of elephants. Let's see who gets trampled by their trunks and tusks tomorrow.

Woke up feeling dizzy and confused. Ouch!

My head is pounding. 5555

All I can manage is a cup of hot tea. 5555

I must have been trampled by an elephant last night. TT

Mission accomplished, it's time to hit the road!

Wheels are turning!

A commemorative photo with Pig,

who took care of us for 3 days and 2 nights.

Thank you very much, Pig.

On the way back, we will stop by for a bit of sightseeing.

In this condition, I don't know where to go.

I really want to sleep. 5555

I can finally sleep soundly. 5555

Cool breeze in my ears, hmm...

It's so dizzy, oh my god.

Don't think it's hot just because the sun is strong.

It has to be very hot to be right. TT

But if I can sleep at that hour, anywhere is fine. 5555

We have arrived at our first stop,

Chivit Thamma Da Coffee House & Bistro.

Walking into the shop, you can feel the relaxed atmosphere.

There is Jazz music playing.

Oh, I wish I could sleep here. 5555

Let's take a look at some food.

Hmmmmm...

The area around the shop is full of flowers.

The atmosphere is really good.

The shop is very spacious, we only took a few pictures to show you.

If you want to chill, you have to go see it yourself ^^

After a long period of slow living,

we can continue our journey.

As for us, we slept in the same place with the same view.

55555

After driving for a while, we arrived at the next stop.

Choui Fong Tea Plantation.

The tea plantation here is as far as the eye can see.

All I can say is, wow!

A minor commotion ensued.

Everyone was famished and eager to capture the moment simultaneously.

In the end, hunger won by a landslide. 5555

The menu I would like to recommend is deep-fried tea leaves.

It's very delicious, the dipping sauce is just right.

For those who are hungover...

I think a lemon tea will be the best answer for you.

Must try it. Kkkkkkkkkk

After a delicious meal, we went for a walk and took some photos.

Following the group, I couldn't help but miss my own friends.

They walked, played, teased each other, and had fun together.

It was heartwarming to see them enjoying each other's company and doing things together.

May their friendship last forever.

^^

I'm back home!

I'm returning with a heart overflowing with joy.

Thank you for everything we've encountered on our 5-day, 4-night journey.

I'm feeling motivated to return to my life in Bangkok.

The total cost for the trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, split among 8 friends, is 1,000 baht per person.

The round-trip airfare, including transportation to the airport, is 990 baht.

The cost of food and accommodation in Chiang Mai is approximately 1,000 baht.

Wow, that's incredibly affordable!
