Hello everyone, and welcome.

This is our first review and our first trip away from home!

I apologize for any errors or omissions in the information provided. I was a bit forgetful while writing.

Let's get down to business!

We booked AirAsia flight tickets several months in advance at a round-trip price of less than 2,000 baht. We landed at Ho Chi Minh City Airport for a 4-day, 3-night trip.

DAY 1: Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, around 11:00 AM, we exchanged currency for Vietnamese Dong and purchased SIM cards at the airport.

We boarded a green bus, route 512, at the airport and headed to Saigon. The fare was around 5 Thai baht, if I recall correctly. We strolled around the area, following a map. We explored Ho Chi Minh City on our first day, starting with the Central Post Office.

One of the unique charms of Vietnam is its abundance of motorbikes. The streets are filled with them, even overflowing onto sidewalks. Pedestrians must be constantly vigilant, as the constant sound of horns fills the air. This ubiquitous presence of motorbikes is a defining characteristic of Vietnamese culture.

After sightseeing, I bought a sleeper bus ticket to Da Lat and looked for a day trip tour in Da Lat. I apologize that there are relatively few photos. I forgot some things. We got on the bus around 23:00 and arrived in Da Lat around 4:00 am. I booked a hotel in Da Lat for one night, called Tulip Hotel, which will pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. The accommodation in Da Lat costs 900 Thai baht, which is about 488,700 VND. Let me tell you about the food in Vietnam. Since we were already in their country, the famous Vietnamese food is Pho. So we walked around looking for a restaurant to eat, but it turned out that we couldn't eat it. It was either because the taste was bland or we were not familiar with their food. And the food in every country has a lot of MSG, which makes our tongues feel numb. Let's move on to the next topic.

After checking in to our accommodation in Da Lat, a guide picked us up at the hotel where we had booked a day trip at around 8:00 AM. We spent the entire day sightseeing until 3:00 PM.

DAY 2: Da Lat City

Datanla Waterfall is located approximately 5 kilometers south of Dalat city. Instead of walking down to the waterfall, we took an exciting and fun roller coaster ride that followed the tracks from the top to the bottom of the waterfall. A round-trip ticket costs 45,000 VND (68 baht).

Sipping soybean milk at night at Dalat Market was a delightful experience. The cool evening air and the abundance of Thai tourists created a vibrant atmosphere. Interestingly, many Vietnamese vendors spoke Thai, offering us grilled chicken and pumpkin juice in the language. We couldn't help but chuckle, wondering if Dalat had become a Thai enclave.

Da Lat also has a walking street at night, similar to the walking streets in our country. The weather in this city is colder than other cities. (The time in Vietnam is the same as in our country.)

DAY 3: Mui Ne

We departed from Dalat City around 8:00 AM and arrived in Mui Ne in the late afternoon. The journey involved a mountainous section, which we do not recall due to falling asleep. As usual, we opted for a day trip upon arrival. During this trip, we encountered fellow Thai travelers and decided to join their excursion, despite not knowing them beforehand. In Mui Ne, we stayed at a hotel that we had not booked in advance. However, the group we met had a reservation, and we agreed to share the accommodation, resulting in a cost of less than 300 baht per person.

Visit the fishing village in Mui Ne.

To reach the White Desert, we had to take a jeep ride. We don't remember the exact price, but it was quite expensive, around 200 baht per person. However, there was no other way to get there, so we had to pay. The view from the top was worth every penny. The vast white desert stretched out before us, with a clear blue sky above and a cool breeze blowing. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

Go to Fairy Stream

After the day trip, the tour guide recommended a seafood restaurant because the seafood there was very cheap. We ate until we were full and satisfied, and it cost less than 4,000 Thai baht, which we split among 7 people. It was a meal with people we had just met, but it was the most delicious meal ever.

The next morning, we took a sleeper bus from Mui Ne back to Ho Chi Minh City. We took the same green bus, number 512, to the airport to fly home.

Our trip abroad this time was thanks to our two travel companions. We went through hardships together in a foreign land where we couldn't even eat the food, but that's the kind of friendship you can't find anywhere else.

Thank you for reading the review of a simple country kid.
