#MiniCravings

This round, let's take you on a culinary journey to the province of Phetchabun.

Therefore, we have compiled a list of "Phetchabun's must-try dishes" for everyone.

Starting with noodle dishes first.

The first shop is "Sister Som's Waterfall Noodles"

Open 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Closed every Sunday.

A long-standing noodle shop in Phetchabun, previously located at Photichan Market, has relocated to a new and improved location.

A mini-review: Even late at night, the restaurant was bustling with customers coming and going, both dining in and taking out.

This restaurant is renowned for its "generous portions," "rich flavors," and "exceptional meat." However, non-meat eaters need not worry, as the restaurant also offers pork options. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, including tom yum and clear broth soups. The signature dish is the "waterfall" soup, as the restaurant's name suggests. Customers can choose from a variety of noodles, including thin rice noodles, yellow noodles, white noodles, wide rice noodles, glass noodles, and instant noodles, to suit their preferences.

The dish begins with a spicy and sour pork and glass noodle soup, boasting a rich tom yum flavor. The pork is tender and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a hard-boiled egg and crunchy peanuts. The soup is so flavorful that it doesn't require any additional seasoning.

"Pork Waterfall" featuring generous portions of sliced pork, pork balls, and liver, living up to its reputation for a hearty and flavorful dish.

To conclude, the waterfall beef, with its rich broth, tender meat, and sweet, fragrant aroma, is a must-try.

One bowl per person is enough to fill you up, and it's not expensive either. Late or not, if you're hungry, you can definitely leave your stomach at Sister Som's shop.

**Uncle Wawk's Shop** or **"Ratchaburi Tom Yum Noodle"**

The opening hours are irregular, and the closing days are also uncertain, but it is definitely closed on Buddhist holy days. (How independent!)

Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/rRE6LKMYwMP2

The opening hours may be unpredictable, but the delicious taste is guaranteed every time you visit.

This restaurant is run by two people: Uncle Wawk, whose real name is not Wawk, but he has a very loud and fierce voice and face. He also likes to complain, but his noodles are incredibly delicious. His wife, on the other hand, is very kind and always has a smile on her face. This makes the customers surrender to the deliciousness of the food. Even though Uncle Wawk takes a long time to cook and is a bit of an individualist, everyone still comes to eat. (Actually, the uncle and aunt are getting old and their health isn't very good, so please don't tease them about it.)

This restaurant plays music all the time. If you enjoy listening to old songs, don't forget to sit down and enjoy the music while you eat. This restaurant is popular, especially during lunchtime when it gets very crowded.

The restaurant's name is "Tom Yum Noodle," and as the name suggests, it specializes in tom yum soup. Customers can choose from three spice levels: "Chick" (not spicy), "City Kid" (medium spicy), and "Country Boy" (very spicy). A bowl costs only 45 baht. If you want to add more pork slices, they are 25 baht each (one slice is already included in the bowl, but you can add more if you like).

The tom yum soup is very flavorful, even though there are not many ingredients. I highly recommend it.

Before visiting this restaurant, it is recommended to check if it is open, as one of the mini-review team members visited Petchabun five times and only managed to eat there twice.

"And so it is."

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/nVVRFZCwtRy

While this establishment is primarily a coffee shop, we will instead focus on introducing its renowned culinary offerings.

The owner of the shop is very kind and friendly. (He's also handsome, haha!)

The restaurant's signature dish is "Bacon Kra Pao," a fragrant stir-fry of holy basil leaves, sauce, and chili peppers, with a moderate level of spiciness. Thin slices of bacon, infused with the savory sauce, add a delightful touch to the dish.

Another menu is "Stewed Pork with Holy Basil". The stewed pork belly is incredibly tender and surprisingly pairs well with the stir-fried holy basil.

This restaurant also offers the option to pre-order food by calling 097 315 5677.

**"Nine Coffee Cafe"**

Open 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Open daily.

Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/UCFBRmzVnX22

Despite its distance from the city center, the restaurant's remote location offers a tranquil and immersive natural experience.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

This establishment primarily functions as a coffee shop, specializing in beverages as its name suggests. However, it also offers a selection of savory dishes.

This menu item is called "Mama Bomb." As the name suggests, it is packed with ingredients, as you can see. The taste is also spicy and satisfying.

Crispy chicken nuggets, served piping hot, can be enjoyed with dipping sauce or on their own.

The car that is the shop's logo.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

The ambiance of the restaurant is incredibly lush, offering both outdoor and indoor seating options.

The restaurant has sheep because it is located next to a farm.

Translated to English: "Another stop at a 'Moo Joom' restaurant."

Open 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Open daily.

Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/rXYToJNDQMp

Although it is a pork dipping restaurant, the menu we recommend you try is

"Lemon Chicken" boasts crispy, oil-free chicken drizzled with the restaurant's special lemon sauce. It is served with pineapple and crispy fried kale.

There are many more delicious restaurants in Phetchabun. If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely share them with you.
