18/3/2017 Check out from Koh Yao Noi - Go to Phuket and stay at Foto Hotel
Departing from Koh Yao Noi at 11:30 AM, returning to Bang Rong Pier in Phuket.
The boat fare is 200 baht. The boat will arrive at the pier around 12:30 PM.
Call a taxi to take me to Foto Hotel, located at Kata Beach.
The taxi fare is 1,000 baht and the journey takes approximately 1 hour.
This hotel, Foto Hotel, has been open for a long time. You've probably seen many reviews about it already.
In summary, based on my experience during my stay…
Foto Hotel is a hotel with Scottish Fold cats that can be found lounging in various locations throughout the property.
Located in Kata Beach, but not by the sea.
The hotel's condition is due to its long history of operation and the gray and black color scheme.
The building's exterior and the interior of the rooms show some signs of deterioration.
Overall, the hotel is very photogenic.
This photo was taken from a restaurant on the hill, looking back at the hotel.
Free coffee and local snacks are available in the lobby.

The room we stayed in was an Ocean Hall, offering a distant view of the sea.
Inside the room, a colossal bed.
Everything in the refrigerator is free to eat, except for that bottle of wine.
The swimming pool is adjacent to the restaurant. In the evening, the sunset is on this side, with a beautiful view.
A popular viewpoint with seating for enjoying the scenery. The atmosphere in the evening must be beautiful.
Breakfast is served here until 1 pm.
The night we stayed there was a concert at the hotel pool. The music was so loud that it didn't stop until midnight. I tried to calm myself down by thinking that I was getting free live music in my room.

The highlight of the trip was today...
19/4/2017 Boat trip to Ko Mai Thon to watch the sunset. Booked a catamaran package with Discover Catamaran. The car picked us up from the hotel around 12:15 pm to go to the deep-sea port to board the boat. It took about half an hour to get there from the hotel.
The port
The pier features a lobby and a coffee corner for relaxation.
Path to the boat
Please remove your shoes before boarding the boat.
As the boat set sail, the cool breeze brought a sense of exhilaration, prompting us to capture the moment with our cameras.
Popular spot at the bow of the ship
The bow of the ship, lying down while the ship sails, the cool breeze is nice.
The first stop was snorkeling to see the coral reefs, but we didn't go in the water. The boat was all ours, so we had a blast taking pictures. That's what was great about it.
Afterward, we went to Ko Mai Thon and had lunch.

The Island's Culinary Delights: A Buffet Paradise
The island boasts a unique dining experience with multiple food stalls resembling open-air canteens. Each stall features its own buffet line, offering a diverse array of culinary delights.
Seafood enthusiasts can indulge in succulent BBQ options, including skewered shrimp and squid paired with a tangy seafood dipping sauce. Grilled chicken, fluffy fried rice, flavorful spaghetti, and a selection of fresh fruits complete the delectable spread.
Breathtaking view on Koh Maiton Island.
Crystal clear water and stunning scenery.
The real view is far more beautiful than the pictures.
This island offers accommodations (although their current status is unknown), a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a pool for scuba diving lessons. Please note that beach chairs require a rental fee.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
It's time to leave Koh Mai Thon and continue fishing in the middle of the sea.
The wind was extremely strong during the journey, causing the boat to rock significantly. If you are prone to seasickness, it is recommended to sit on the upper deck, directly in front of the steering wheel.
Anchor the fishing boat.
As the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow across the sky, the journey back was filled with a sense of tranquility. The once scorching sun had softened its touch, replaced by a gentle breeze that carried the scent of the approaching evening. The gentle rocking of the boat and the soft melody of the music created a soothing ambiance, inviting relaxation and reflection. As I rested my head on my companion's lap, the world seemed to melt away, leaving only the breathtaking view of the setting sun and the warmth of the moment. It was a moment of pure bliss, etched forever in my memory.
The van dropped us back at the hotel, marking the end of our trip.
Have dinner at Krua Chom Le restaurant, next to the hotel.
..........
20/4/2017 10:30 Check out. Taxi from hotel to airport 1,000 baht.
A one-hour flight on a red-tailed hawk brought me back to the capital city.
The trip ended happily, with a dizzying and disorienting experience due to motion sickness for three days.
