Greetings, friends. It has been a while since I last wrote a post. Today, I would like to record a wonderful story about the opportunity I had to document acts of kindness in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). I hope this small post will serve as a lasting reminder of this beautiful memory.
I was given a wonderful opportunity by the TAT Chiang Rai office.
I am honored to record this story.
Thank you to all the generous people.

This morning, we woke up early to witness the beauty and way of life along the Mekong River in Chiang Khong District.
The appointed time had arrived. At seven o'clock in the morning, over 200 cyclists gathered at the designated meeting point for the group ride.
We gathered at the Huai Sai Maan viewpoint in Chiang Khong district. We cycled out from Chiang Khong town.
Approximately 10 kilometers ahead, you will find the Huai Sai Man viewpoint on your right-hand side. It is clearly marked with a sign, making it easy to spot.
With the group of cyclists assembled, they set off on their ride.
The next stop for the cyclists is the Pha Phra viewpoint on the banks of the Mekong River, where they will take a group photo.
A scenic viewpoint on the Chiang Khong-Chiang Saen route.
A helmet made from coconut shells, a sustainable and stylish choice.
The group photo has been taken to capture the memories, and the cycling team has continued their journey.
The next destination is Ban Had Bai, a Tai Lue village.
Before reaching Ban Had Bai, we passed a beautiful resort called Rai Saeng Arun, which offers stunning views of the Mekong River.
Upon entering Ban Had Bai, we encountered the simple and natural way of life of the villagers.
The group of cyclists finally arrived at Ban Had Bai, where they were warmly welcomed by the villagers.
Snacks were provided for the cyclists, including a local dish called "Khao Tom Hua Ngok," which many of you may not be familiar with. It is a northern Thai dish.
For those of you who have the opportunity to visit Ban Had, don't miss the "Khao Soi Gai" in the Tai Lue style.
This dish resembles clear noodle soup with "ong" chili paste added, making it quite delicious. Another notable Tai Lue dish is...
Khao raem fuen, also known as khao fuen, is a dish consisting of soft rice noodles served in a tomato-based broth seasoned with monosodium glutamate, salt, and roasted chili powder.
The meal was delicious and affordable, with chicken khao soi costing only 30 baht per cup and khao ram phian costing just 5 baht per cup. The group of cyclists enjoyed both savory and sweet dishes.
Everyone gathered together to participate in the alms offering ceremony with the villagers of Ban Had Bai community.
Cyclists and villagers from Ban Hat Bai joined hands in singing a hymn of praise to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, with tears in their eyes, and stood in mourning to pay their respects to the "King Rama IX" who has ascended to heaven.
And now it's time to continue our journey to the next destination, the Chiang Saen District Office.
The official opening ceremony and flag-off for the cycling event took place at Baan Haad Bai Village.
Heading towards Chiang Saen district.
We have just passed Wat Phra That Pha Ngao. The Chiang Saen District Office is just a short distance away.
The cycling group has finally arrived at the Chiang Saen District Office and is taking a lunch break there.
After a relaxing lunch, the cycling group gathered to sign a book of condolences.
In dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and to declare the intention to gather the four major rivers.
To pay respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Sanam Luang.
The cycling team has signed a letter of condolence.
The first river was collected, following the team's initial goal, led by Mr. Bird.
After collecting the first river, the cycling team set off for Mae Sai district.
The Golden Triangle viewpoint, marking the borders of three countries, is located next to the magnificent golden Phra Chedi Lan Tu. This concludes the first day of the cycling group's journey in Mae Sai district, Chiang Rai province.
Rest and prepare to cross the border into Burma tomorrow morning. Upon arrival in Mae Sai district,
To pay respects to the sacred relics and seek blessings for a safe journey, the cycling group ascended to Wat Phra That Doi Wao.
This time, too.
A beautiful view of the evening light with a small community below. It's very beautiful. If any of your friends come to visit Mae Sai District,
"Wat Phra That Doi Wao" is a must-see destination.
