So let's go see what's so special here...

The Square Restaurant Atmosphere

The Square restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit hotel. If you are coming by BTS, take exit 4 and you will find the hotel on the right side next to the BTS stairs. Then take the elevator to the 8th floor, where you will be greeted by the staff.

The dining room is spacious and airy, with large windows offering views of the adjacent buildings and the passing trains. The warm and inviting atmosphere is enhanced by dark brown furniture, accented with brightly colored glasses and plate mats. For families with young children, the restaurant provides high chairs and colorful children's tableware.

The restaurant offers a small Kids Club where children can play while their parents enjoy their meals. This thoughtful amenity demonstrates the establishment's commitment to family-friendly dining.

A wide variety of international cuisine and a full range of seafood.

As a 5-star international hotel, Novotel offers an extraordinary buffet line. The seafood is fresh, sweet, and plentiful, including Alaskan king crab legs, imported oysters, New Zealand mussels, shrimp, mantis shrimp, and sea crabs. Each item is incredibly popular and sells out quickly, but the staff is constantly replenishing the buffet, ensuring a near-continuous supply.

Indulge in a Seafood Extravaganza: Unlimited Freshness and Quality

This passage describes an all-you-can-eat seafood experience, emphasizing the abundance, freshness, and quality of the offerings.

Key points:

  • Unlimited: Guests can enjoy as much food as they desire, with no restrictions on refills or portion sizes.
  • Freshness: The seafood is guaranteed to be fresh, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.
  • Quality: The restaurant prioritizes high-quality ingredients, promising a satisfying meal.
  • Highlights: The writer recommends oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, and shrimp as must-try items.

Overall, the passage invites readers to indulge in a luxurious seafood feast, characterized by unlimited options, exceptional freshness, and top-notch quality.

Both the crab and the shrimp are naturally sweet, and when dipped in the hotel's delicious seafood sauce, they are truly a delightful treat.

Next, let's take a look at the Japanese food station, another popular station that is very popular with guests. The chefs are busy making sushi, with a variety of rolls and toppings such as salmon, sweet egg, crab sticks, tuna, and mackerel.

The thick slices of salmon sashimi were incredibly satisfying to chew, with a delightful springiness that rivaled the quality of high-end Japanese restaurants. We must emphasize once again the exceptional quality of the seafood dipping sauce, which was perfectly seasoned to suit the Thai palate. The combination of the sashimi and the sauce was truly harmonious, creating an unforgettable culinary experience. (Note: We were sipping wine, not the seafood dipping sauce!)

Let's switch from international cuisine to the familiar flavors of Thai food. Although it's a foreign hotel brand, they still offer authentic Thai dishes that are truly delicious. The salads and curries are particularly spicy and flavorful, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. The menu changes weekly, so there's always something new to try. If you want to introduce your foreign friends to a variety of Thai dishes, this is the place to be.

No matter how much you want to mix it up, go for it! We have prepared various ingredients for you to boil. If you don't like glass noodles, we also have chewy udon noodles.

For meat lovers, don't worry! The hotel has also prepared a grand Carving Station featuring a variety of meats, including lamb, sirloin beef, and BBQ ham. Simply point to the meat you desire, and the chef will slice it fresh for you.

Another highlight that cannot be missed is the freshly baked pizza from the charcoal oven. There are various toppings to choose from, including Margherita, Seafood, and Hawaiian.

A diverse selection of organic salad bar vegetables, a cold cut corner, and a variety of cheeses from around the world are also available for your enjoyment.

At The Square restaurant, they emphasize cook-to-order, ensuring every dish is freshly made. The pasta station features chefs preparing pasta dishes on the spot, one plate at a time. We ordered spaghetti carbonara, which was incredibly flavorful and cheesy. The bacon was perfectly crispy. At that moment, I completely forgot about my diet, to be honest. Haha!

As a food lover, I couldn't miss this dish... "Foie gras"! I ate eight pieces of foie gras alone. The foie gras here is grilled to perfection, not too dry and not too mushy. The slightly sour sauce that is drizzled on top makes it even more delicious and not greasy at all.

In addition to Thai dishes, there are also Indian dishes such as Roti, Massaman curry, and Chinese dishes such as dim sum, crispy pork, and braised duck for us to try.

To conclude this special meal, we offer a variety of sweet treats, including both Thai and Western options. Choose from premium ice cream flavors from New Zealand, homemade cakes, traditional Thai desserts, and fresh seasonal fruits. All in one place, making it a truly worthwhile experience.

We really like this cup. Anyone know what it's called? I forgot, lol. It might be Passion Fruit Mouse, meaning the top is sour passion fruit and the bottom is some kind of mousse, not sure, but it's a perfect balance of sweet and sour. So good, we had to order another one!

Thai desserts are all my favorites, such as crispy toddy palm cakes, lot chong, stuffed desserts, palm cakes, and coconut jelly.

This fruit comes on a cart, complete with chili salt. Haha! Or, if you prefer, you can enjoy it fondue-style with chocolate.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Have you worked up an appetite yet? ^^? As I type this, I'm looking at the pictures and my stomach is growling. 555555
