Hello everyone!
This past April, I gathered some friends from university and we went on a trip to Macau.
We were a group of four, and while we got a bit lost and confused at times, we managed to stick to our plan.
In our three days and two nights, we didn't see a lot, but what we did see was of high quality.
Let's take a look at where we went:
Day 1
We started our journey from Don Mueang Airport.
Our tickets were a promotion that we bought a long time ago from AirAsia. They were incredibly cheap, only 2,300 baht roundtrip (excluding checked baggage). With checked baggage, it came out to around 3,300 baht, depending on how much each person wanted to check.
Flights:
DMK 3:45 PM (15:45) -----> MFM 7:15 PM (19:15)
MFM 10:10 PM (22:10) -----> DMK 11:55 PM (23:55)
Currency in Macau = MOP
Rate 4.35 - 4.38 (I exchanged money several times, so the rate varied depending on the day)
We arrived in Macau around 7 pm. It took us a while to figure out how to get to our accommodation, and we ended up taking a taxi (mainly because we couldn't find the bus stop).
If you want to take the bus or the free shuttle, turn right after exiting the airport and keep walking.
You'll pass the taxi stand and after a while, you'll see the bus queue.
The trip from the airport to our accommodation wasn't too long. We enjoyed the view as we went.
The taxi driver chatted with us the whole way, and we understood some of what he said.
Taxis in Macau use two meters, and we're not sure why.
At first, we thought they were cheating us, but after taking two different taxis, we realized it was the same for everyone.
Can someone explain this to us?
Map of the journey from Macau Airport to Macau Masters Hotel
[Map image]
The journey didn't take long, and the taxi was a convenient option.
The taxi fare was 95MOP, which we split between four people, so it wasn't too expensive.
The taxis in Macau use Toyota Camrys, which are quite luxurious.
The seats were comfortable, and the car could accommodate up to four passengers.
We stayed at the Macau Masters Hotel.
Upon arrival, we checked in. We had booked our accommodation through Agoda and informed them of our late check-in.
Fortunately, there were only two rooms left, so we were lucky to get one.
We actually booked this hotel just a few days before our trip because we had canceled our previous reservation.
We were worried that we wouldn't find accommodation if we arrived late at night, so we opted for a more reliable option.
We prefer to book and pay later, as it gives us more flexibility.
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
You can take bus number 26 or MT4 and get off at Rau Das Lorchas (M137) bus stop.
(I haven't taken this bus before, so those who want to take the bus can do some research.)
**Standard Room with 2 beds**
**2740 Baht / 2 nights / person**
The price is quite reasonable for us.
Each room is different, depending on your luck, the room may be bigger or smaller.
We booked a room with 2 beds so we wouldn't have to squeeze together. Hehe.
As for the room of the author, this room has a good view. You can see the Grand Lisbua. It's beautiful. ++
Note: The provided text is empty. There is nothing to translate.
The bathroom is not very large, but it is not too small either. It has a bathtub.
There is no need to lift the toilet seat, as there is a separate sink.
Amenities in the room:
- Towels + small towels
- Slippers to wear in the room
- Refrigerator (small)
Amenities in the bathroom:
- Shampoo + conditioner (small bottles)
- Toothbrush + toothpaste (small tubes)
- Bar soap
- Hair cap
- Hairdryer
After packing our belongings, we decided to take a leisurely stroll to Senado Square to avoid wasting time.
The square is within walking distance from our accommodation, and we used Google Maps to guide us.
Following our guide, we embarked on a 7-minute walk, enjoying the scenery along the way.
It was around 8 pm, and the streets were bustling with people, making us feel safe.
The path involved a slight uphill climb, which might be tiring for some, but the weather was pleasant and not too hot.
Some shops are still open along the way.
There are many bubble tea shops, I love it.
Don't miss it, bubble tea lovers.
" Senado square "
Came to take a picture with "Ruins of St. Paul's"
Walking around and got lost 5555++
Then I found McDonalds and it had taro ice cream, how could I miss it?
The taste is like purple yam, haha.
Super purple yam, haha.
"Ruins of St. Paul's"
A landmark in Macau, you have to take a picture here.
In the evenings, young people and people of all ages gather here.
When we went, the smell of durian was very strong, so girls be careful.
Let's find some dinner to eat. I found out that this restaurant is delicious and popular with Thai people.
" Wong Chi Kei "
Egg noodle shop with shrimp dumplings
** Open 08.00-24.00 **
As soon as I sat down, the staff brought me a menu and a cup of hot tea.
Let's take a look at our menu.
Menu " wonton w/noodle in soup "
The pork wontons are delicious and have a well-balanced flavor. The noodles are very thin.
Menu: "Shrimp Dumplings with Noodles in Soup"
Note: "Shrimp Dumplings Only" (but not sure if it's really only shrimp, haha!)
Deep-fried fish balls
The fish balls are dense and chewy, but the dipping sauce in the middle is not to my taste.
It has a strange smell, but it depends on your preference.
After finishing our meal, it was time to go back to sleep. 😴
That concludes our first day.
Day 2:
Starting the day fresh and bright, we're heading to "A Ma Temple."
From our accommodation, we decided to walk. According to the map, it should be a walkable distance.
The map says it's about a 14-minute walk, so we'll consider it a leisurely stroll through the city.
We crossed the street to the other side of the hotel and continued walking straight ahead.
From the accommodation, walk towards Wat A Ma. There will be a small 7-Eleven.
This translates to an empty paragraph with center alignment.
As I walked, I came across a steamed bun shop that was reasonably priced. The shop is located in the alleyway we were walking down.
Look around, there's only one shop.
" Steamed bun with red pork filling "
The red pork filling is very delicious, but the steamed bun dough is a bit too much.
But it's okay, I don't remember the price, but I know it's not expensive.

A-Ma Temple
Opening hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
When making a wish, it is best to do so in Thai. 555555++
After reading reviews from various forums, it is recommended to make your wish in Chinese.
Hopefully, the deity will understand our wishes.

After making a wish, come down to make another wish.
Come write your name on the windmill, bell? I don't know what to call it, sorry.
Written in Thai, hoping you can understand.
Before leaving, it is said that you must rub the large bowl after you have finished worshipping the sacred objects.
Use your hand to rub the handle. If water splashes up, your wish will be granted. Good luck.
Spinning around and around, no matter how long I spin, not a single drop of water splashes out. 55555555555555+++
After paying respects at the temple, we continued our journey.
We boarded the MT4 bus from the TEMPLE A MA stop, heading towards Studio City.
We had planned our route using Google Maps and confirmed it at the bus stop.
The bus fare was 4.5 MOP (if I remember correctly). I had a 5 MOP coin, so I put it in.
I didn't get any change. Buses here require you to have the exact fare or use an Octopus card (which I didn't have).
When I got off, I didn't know what the name of the stop was. When I saw Studio City, I pressed the bell.
It seems to be a back entrance.
The Golden Reel: A Thrilling Ride with Stunning Views
The Golden Reel, located on the third floor of Studio City's BOX OFFICE, is a captivating attraction that offers both excitement and breathtaking panoramas. Standing at an impressive 130 meters above ground, this giant Ferris wheel boasts capsules that can accommodate eight passengers each.
As the Golden Reel gracefully glides along its figure-eight track, inspired by auspicious feng shui principles, riders are treated to a unique and exhilarating experience. The ride not only provides a surge of adrenaline but also unveils stunning panoramic views of the entire Taipei Island.
Soaring high above the city, the Golden Reel promises an unforgettable journey that combines thrilling amusement with breathtaking vistas.

Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Excited to be on the Golden Wheel 555555555++
There is also a mirrored area, so I went to take some photos.
I sat down first and then scooted over slowly. I was afraid it would break!
The first round has concluded successfully.
After leaving Studio City, we walked out onto the street. Across the street, we saw the Eiffel Tower.
We took photos of each other.
"Eiffel Tower Replica (Macau)"
It is located at The Parisian Macau. If you want to go up, there is a fee, but we didn't go up.
Taking photos from below is enough. It's beautiful enough.
Next, we went to
"Rua Do Cunha Food Street"
The plan was to take a taxi, but as we walked along,
we changed our minds and decided to take a free bus instead. So we went to the City of Dreams.
Once inside, there will be signs telling you to go down to the lower floor.
There will be a free bus to take you to "Taipa Village". We asked the staff and they pointed out where to get on.
"Rua Do Cunha Food Street"
This place is bustling with people and there are a lot of food options. There are shops selling delicious snacks and souvenirs.
And here, there is the famous egg tart.
This renowned and long-standing establishment, "Casa de Cha Fong Kei," offers a variety of delectable treats.
Their signature offerings include crispy, hollow egg rolls, savory egg rolls filled with shredded pork, and the highly acclaimed almond cookies.
We couldn't resist indulging in these delights, and my friend purchased a substantial quantity.
Walking around, we had to find something to eat. Lunch
Before the main meal, I wanted to find some oden to eat. My friend really wanted to eat it.
My friend ran straight to this shop. There was an old uncle standing there.
There were many things to choose from. It was overwhelming. Just point at what you want to the uncle.
There were vegetables, meat, meatballs, etc. He would put them in a pot to boil and then pour the sauce over them.
The sauce comes in 3 levels: not spicy, medium spicy, and very spicy (it was delicious).
Our model, who really wants to eat.
After that, we went to find the main course. We walked around and found this restaurant.
" Cafe Kokoro "
We came to Macau to eat Korean food. 555555555555++
It's a fusion style, with coffee, food, and desserts. Everything you need.
The point is, the staff is hot. 555 Very worthy.
Let's cut to the food. Hehe.

# Deep-fried shrimp pizza, black dough, crispy, very delicious.
We went with a large group and ordered a lot of food, but we still couldn't finish it all. -*-
Maybe because we ordered too much.
# Kimchi spaghetti is delicious, you must try it.
# Kimbup (김밥) is sooooooooo delicious, order it now!
The total price for this meal, converted to Thai baht, is 2XXX.
This restaurant also has a VAT, so consider it a tip for the staff 5555++.
It's time to go back to our place, so we went to get on the bus at the same place we got off.
We waited for the free bus, got on, and got off at Studio City. The free bus here came just in time.
After getting off the bus here, we went to queue to get off as close to Senado Square as possible.
I forgot to take a picture of this, I'm really sorry. Just follow the signs, it's not difficult.
The bus will stop near Senado Square. When we got off the bus, we followed the GPS.
Let's go for another walk to buy souvenirs. Today, we're going all out.
And today, we're going to shop at "SASA", a shopping paradise that will leave you broke.
And here's everything we bought:
If you like this brand, you'll love buying it here because it's hundreds of dollars cheaper than in Thailand.
I will list the prices as best as I can remember.
# Fairydrops mascara = Approximately 4XX baht
In Thailand, it costs 1XXX baht. Wow... what a difference! It's definitely worth buying, right? ;)
# Bioderma 2 bottles (promotional pair) = Approximately 1,200 baht
In Thailand, each bottle costs around a thousand baht. So, it's definitely worth buying.
# evian mineral water spray: small bottle + large bottle = Approximately 4XX baht
This is also worth buying because I think it's cheaper than in Thailand.
# rainbath neutrogena ** Recommend ** : 32 fl oz (946ml) = 4XX
This is a great deal because this size is not available in Thailand.
The size sold in Thailand is 473ml and costs 399 baht (Eveandboy).
I could only buy this much because my bag was full @_@ I wish I could get another bottle.
One bottle lasts about 3 months (according to a friend).
# Ajuste UV Spray SPF 50+ PA++++, Clean Savon (200g)
= Approximately ........ I can't remember, but I know it's worth it. 5555++
I bought this because of Meaw. It smells so good!
Cut to the food.
# Egg Rolls
Very delicious. It comes in a big box. There was a promotion when I went.
I'm not sure if it's available in a smaller box.
# Almond Cookie is delicious
After that, you should head back to your accommodation.
Take your belongings to your accommodation and then head out to the supermarket.
There is a supermarket near your accommodation on the way back from the Senado Square.
Go find some food for someone who is broke 55555++ This meal is instant noodles.
Many friends are returning to Thailand. Walk to the drinks section.
Taiwanese teaaaaaaaaaa is theirs. I bought several bottles.
Mama, my dear friend, be happy and go to sleep.
Day 3
And then, the day to return home arrived.
After checking out, we left our luggage at the accommodation and went back to Zen Edo for one last look.
We walked around again, wanting to get some shoes, but they didn't have our size, so we gave up.
From Zen Edo, we went to a nearby restaurant, just a short walk away.
"Chan Kuong Kei Casa De Pasto"
A famous roast duck restaurant, Chang Kong Ge
This restaurant is popular among Thai people. When we went there, there were also Thai people queuing.
We saw many Thai people in the reviews, so we came here too. It is said that the roast duck is delicious.
The staff at the restaurant can also speak Thai, a little bit.
For the menus and stuff (male staff)
The front of the shop is dazzling.
The store is packed with people.
A menu is posted on the wall.
Order Spiced Mixed 65MOP
It will include crispy pork + red pork + chicken + roasted duck
We asked the staff to separate pork + pork, chicken + duck because our friend is Muslim
As for the vegetables, we tried to look at other tables that had small pieces, but when we ordered, we got this 5555++
It might be a bit difficult to eat because it's big, but it's delicious. It's not bitter, the vegetables are delicious
Crispy pork + red pork
- Crispy pork: A bit salty, people who don't like salty might not like it, but it's delicious
It's probably roasted crispy pork
- Red pork: This is delicious, really delicious, you should order it
Duck + Chicken
Boiled Chicken: Delicious, juicy
Roasted Duck: Soooo good, must order, don't miss it!
Today's lunch was incredibly delicious and satisfying, making the wait in line completely worth it.
If you arrive early, there's usually no queue. However, if you go during lunchtime,
be prepared for a potentially long wait.
After picking up our luggage, we headed to the Venetian.
We opted for a taxi due to the weight of our suitcases and numerous shopping bags.
It was a luxurious way to travel.
The taxi dropped us off at the Venetian's free bus parking area.
Our next mission was to find a place to store our luggage.
We entered through the luggage storage area, where the cost was 10MOP.
We had read in several forums that there was free storage on the west side.
However, it turned out not to be free, leading us to question whether we were on the wrong side.
We inquired with a staff member, who confirmed that this was indeed the west side.
Resigned to paying the fee, we were asked if we were staying at the hotel or heading to the airport.
We informed them that we were going to the airport, and they asked what time we needed our luggage.
They explained that they would move our luggage to the main lobby.
The staff member provided us with a ticket stub, which we were instructed to keep safe.
With our luggage safely stored, we were free to explore the Venetian.
"The Venetian Macao"
Note: As there is no text provided for translation, I am unable to complete this request. Please provide the text you would like translated from Thai to English.
Margaret's Egg Tart is also available at The Venetian. You can buy it here.
I walked around and visited different stores. It was fun.
I bought a pair of Adidas shoes, the "X_PLR SHOES".
It's about 3XXX baht, which is what I wanted.
I'm not sure if this color is available in Thailand, but I bought it because it looked nice. It's actually a men's shoe.
It was available in my size, so I bought it. As a woman with big feet, I have to accept it.
It's time to go back. We need to find the main lobby. Follow the signs.
We walked around and got tired. When we found it, we gave the ticket we received when we checked our bags to the staff.
They brought our bags, and that was it. We lined up to take the free Venetian shuttle to the airport. It's great that it's free.
We'll be back again!
Thank you all for reading.
