What should we do today? It's Saturday...

Let's take a relaxing drive to Pattaya. I'll message my friends and see if they want to join us.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It took almost 10:30 AM for everyone to arrive. We set off for Pattaya, taking the expressway to Bang Na and then the tollway. We drove straight to Bang Bua and then cut onto the motorway.

The journey to Pattaya took approximately two hours. During the drive, we searched for accommodation options. We had agreed beforehand to find a beautiful hotel where we could relax and take full advantage of the available facilities.

To find a delicious restaurant with a beautiful interior for taking photos, one person opened Agoda while the other searched for reviews. In the end, they decided on Mera Mare. They chose this place because it was new and, based on numerous reviews, the rooms were beautiful and seemed spacious. They also had a family room that could comfortably accommodate five people.

And then we arrived at the accommodation...
The hotel is easy to find. From Sukhumvit Road, turn left onto North Pattaya Road. Drive straight until the end and turn left onto Beach Road. Continue driving and you will find Mera Mare on the left hand side next to Hardrock Pattaya...

Upon arriving at the lobby for check-in, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, this hotel is beautifully decorated and stylish!" While waiting for our keycards, we took some time to explore and photograph the lobby's ambiance. After a while, it was time to head to our rooms. Some of our friends, feeling peckish, decided to grab a bite to eat before joining us later. The Mera Mare boasts an Italian-style décor, predominantly featuring shades of blue, black, and white. The name "Mera Mare" itself translates to "woman of the sea," which made me wonder if it was a reference to mermaids.

After much deliberation, we arrived at our room for today, the Sensation Suite. The room is stunning, with a view of Pattaya Beach. We couldn't resist taking some beautiful photos before the room gets messy. Here are the pictures for you to enjoy.

The scene cuts to a restaurant called October Sky, where two friends are dining. They ordered three dishes: 1. Stir-fried noodles with fresh shrimp, 2. Parma ham pasta, and 3. Spicy salmon. The photos they took show the dishes to be very appetizing.

As mentioned earlier, we were determined to make the most of the facilities, so we decided to take the plunge. While two of us went swimming, the others headed to the fitness center. Since we arrived in the late afternoon, the sun was quite hot. The staff suggested that we come back in the early evening when the pool would be more beautiful. We were curious about what they meant, so we told our friends that we would come back later. For now, we just wanted to soak in the water.

The sun was setting, and our stomachs were starting to rumble. We decided to eat at the hotel, as the prices were reasonable for the quality and value. But before we went to eat, we took a quick detour to the beach to take some photos.

For dinner tonight, we indulged in the culinary delights of Pastry Addiction. The menu we selected was visually enticing, and as per our usual dining ritual, we captured the moment with photographs before indulging in the feast. The dishes we savored included:
1. Roasted duck breast with apple sauce and pomegranate juice
2. Smoked salmon burger
3. Parma ham pizza
4. Nachos with cheese
5. Tea Set

After a satisfying meal, it's time to head up and see how beautiful the swimming pool is at night... Here, take a look at the pictures and judge for yourselves ^^

A lazy Sunday morning...
After a late night, we woke up late and came down for a leisurely breakfast. The atmosphere was relaxed, with no need to rush. We sat and enjoyed our food while listening to the sound of the waves... It was incredibly peaceful.

Our Pattaya trip has come to an end. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, just as we had planned. Every journey has a destination, but the fun doesn't stop here. This trip's conclusion marks the beginning of our next adventure, which will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
