Hello, my name is Nidhada.
After embarking on numerous trips since the beginning of 2017, we have accumulated a wealth of travel experiences. However, due to our procrastination, we have yet to document any of these adventures. (We admit it... we're lazy.) Therefore, we will begin with our most recent escapade: the search for whale sharks in Chumphon, Thailand. Please note that this is our first attempt at storytelling, so please bear with us if we make any mistakes.
You can criticize, but please don't be too harsh.
This trip was planned with friends after our jungle trek at Lam Khlong Ngu. We decided that after experiencing the forest, we should also experience the wind and sunshine. So, we decided to go snorkeling in Chumphon!
Chumphon province has a lot to offer in terms of tourism.
Among the most popular activities are scuba diving and snorkeling.
While only a few members of our group have scuba diving licenses, we decided to go on a snorkeling trip, which can be just as enjoyable.
Additionally, this option allows our working friends to participate without having to use their vacation days, as we can travel on Friday evening and return to Bangkok on Monday morning.
Before embarking on our journey, we must first secure our transportation by booking a boat and selecting our desired island destination. A detailed schedule and contact information will be provided shortly. Additionally, we must arrange accommodations, with options to suit individual preferences. During our trip, we opted for the highly recommended Salsa Hostel, which offers exceptional value for its price. The friendly owner, impeccable cleanliness, and delicious smoothies and coffee make it a truly remarkable choice. (Note: We received no compensation for this endorsement; we simply believe in sharing positive experiences.)
To ensure an enjoyable diving experience, it is crucial to prepare your body adequately. If you aspire to freedive, extensive practice is highly recommended. For beginners, enrollment in a diving course is essential. DiveDD in Salaya offers exceptional instructors and guarantees a positive learning experience. Contact DiveDDSalaya through Kru Pom for further information.
If you don't have your own car, you can take a round-trip bus to Chokonan for 324 baht.
If you do not have your own transportation, the park can arrange for a chartered car to pick you up in the city center.

9:00 AM: Upon arrival at the national park, connect with the park staff and embark on a boat journey to your island destination.
