Hello, "Chanthaburi"
Today, we will take our friends on a short drive from Bangkok.
For a relaxing staycation, as salarymen like us,
after working hard, we need to rest our bodies.
Recharge our batteries for life.
Chanthaburi, if driving from Bangkok, it takes about 3 hours.
If you come here, I guarantee you will have a worthwhile trip.
A little further is Trat province.
There are many beautiful islands to visit.
This time we came to Trat with our family, on the way back we stopped by many places.
Let's start with Chanthaburi.
Today we left Trat and planned to stay overnight in Chanthaburi.
Speaking of Chanthaburi, the most beautiful landmark must be
the viewpoint "Nang Phaya Hill".
No matter the time of day, whether it's sunrise, sunset, or the middle of the night, the scenery is always breathtaking.
And today, we have a special place to stay, the very place where we'll be spending the night:
"PEGGY 'S COVE RESORT"
This resort boasts a striking ridge overlooking Krungvimarn Beach, just a few kilometers from the Nang Phaya viewpoint.
Designed in the style of a Fishermen Village, it draws inspiration from Peggy's Cove, a charming fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada.
The interior design exudes warmth and comfort, with rooms decorated in soft white tones, creating an authentic fishing village atmosphere.
The resort offers a truly relaxing experience, and we'll take you on a tour to see its ambiance.
First, we need to check in and leave our belongings.
Even the lobby counter is stunning.
We will be greeted with excellent service.
There is also a souvenir shop and a set of clothes for friends who come to stay to borrow to take pictures in the resort.
The entrance to the rooms is via a wooden bridge that extends to each room.
This is a private zone and only guests staying at the resort are allowed access.
Each room is uniquely designed.
Some rooms boast private pools, while others offer direct access to the pool from the room, allowing guests to step out and take a dip.
Upon entering, one is immediately overwhelmed by the abundance of photogenic corners, making it difficult to choose just one.
No matter the angle, it's beautiful. It's enough to make photography enthusiasts happy.
Lush greenery surrounds the area, offering a relaxing and refreshing view.
Upon entering, it feels like we are in a charming little village.
The design incorporates small streams flowing around the village.
This accommodation offers four types of rooms.
Deluxe Room, Deluxe Pool Access
Deluxe Jacuzzi Villa and Grand Deluxe Pool Villa
We offer a variety of room types to suit your preferences.
If you're unsure about the differences between the various room types, please visit the following link for more information: http://peggyscoveresort.com/th/room/
After a leisurely stroll and capturing memories through photographs, they felt a sense of contentment.
Let's take a look at the rooms.
The sound of a cat meowing.
Inside, the space is pristine white.
A soft bed, just seeing it makes me sleepy. zZZ
The room is fully equipped with amenities.
Everything is provided, from drinking water, tea, coffee, hot water kettle, hairdryer, towels, soap, and shampoo. You can literally come with just your clothes!
Laundry services are also available.
Sleeping here is comfortable.
There is an outdoor terrace area where you can relax and enjoy the view.
Let's take a look at the bathroom.
The bathroom also has a bathtub for us to soak in warm water.
After packing our belongings, we decided to indulge in some sweet treats or iced coffee. Fortunately, we didn't have to venture far, as the charming Coffee Cove cafe was conveniently located right in front of our accommodation.
This delightful cafe boasts a diverse menu, offering a wide array of options to satisfy any craving. Moreover, it provides cozy nooks with stunning ocean views, perfect for relaxation. For those seeking a more panoramic perspective, the lighthouse offers an unparalleled vista.
The distinctive red lighthouse. People passing by can stop by the coffee cove here.
This location offers tie-dye activities. If you are interested, please contact the LOBBY.
The accommodation will provide tie-dye instruction, and you can take your creations home as souvenirs.
We drove along, enjoying the scenery from our accommodation.
Just a few kilometers away, we arrived at the Nang Phaya viewpoint.
Even with the soft sunlight, the view was still stunning.
A short drive from our accommodation will take you to the Khao Krong Viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views.
The viewpoint is easily accessible by car and is located just a short distance from two other popular attractions.
This is the Peggy's Cove area of Krung Wiman Beach.
In addition to the Coffee Cove cafe, Peggy's Cove Resort also boasts a beachfront restaurant called Lighthouse Bar & Grill. Located on Chalermprakiet Road, this Western-style eatery offers a diverse menu featuring European-style seafood, thin-crust pizzas, a variety of European dishes, and authentic Chanthaburi cuisine.
After a day of walking and taking photos, our energy is starting to run low.
Let's refuel with our dinner at Lighthouse Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor.
An elegantly decorated dining room with a clean and refreshing ambiance.
With a carefully curated menu

On the way back to the room at night, there is still a light tunnel for taking pictures. You can take pictures both day and night.
Today, we had a great time at this stylish accommodation.
Normally, when I travel, I never stay at the accommodation for this long.
I like to go out and visit nearby places.
But here, the attractions are really close, so it's convenient. So I have time to enjoy the accommodation we chose.
This morning we will have breakfast at the same place. Let's say that this place is good for all meals.
Breakfast is a buffet where you can choose what you want to eat.
Or, for the health-conscious, a salad menu.
Desserts, fruits, and bread.
Favorite cereal for children or adults

In addition to the main attractions, Peggy's Cove also boasts the BAMBOO BAR, a poolside bar serving food and drinks in the evenings for those who prefer to stay in.
This accommodation is so complete that I don't want to go anywhere else.
I want to stay for many more nights.
Anyone who stays here is guaranteed to get their money's worth.
The staff here are very welcoming and helpful.
Plus, there are so many beautiful angles to take cool photos that you'll be spoilt for choice. You could post photos for a whole year!
But it's time to check out now.
After checking out, drive about 10 kilometers to reach the Ao Kung Kaben Development Study Center, established under the royal initiative. A short distance further, you will find a fish farm with various species of fish raised in cages.
At Kung Kraben Bay, tourists can observe and even feed sharks and other marine life.
However, during our visit, the tide was low, so we could only throw food into the water for the fish to eat. The water was not as clear as it is during high tide,
making it difficult to see the fish clearly.
In addition to serving as a tourist attraction, the site also offers demonstrations of fish farming in cages.
And in the nearby area, at the Kung Kraben Wildlife Sanctuary, there is a pink rock field where you can walk and study nature. Or you can walk along the path that winds through the rocks and you will come across the pink rock field.
Next, we will travel to Chanthaburi city, which takes about 45-60 minutes.
The distance is over 30 kilometers.
Here, we will visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Nearby, there is the Chanthaburi Riverside Community.
This is an old riverside community where we can walk around and find delicious food to eat.
Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
The interior of the church is stunning.
In fact, Chanthaburi has many more attractions to offer.
For those who prefer to stay close to home or want to relax, Chanthaburi is a great option.
