Following the review of Ho Chi Minh City, Dalat, and Mui Ne, why do people go there?!

This is a continuation of the previous review, where we explored the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City, Dalat, and Mui Ne. In this episode, we will showcase the stunning scenery of Mui Ne, captured using an iPhone 6 and a Lieqi LQ-027 lens. Get ready to be captivated!

Mui Ne: A Journey Begins

Our third day in southern Vietnam took us from Dalat to Mui Ne, where we embarked on our first-ever desert experience, just a stone's throw away from Thailand. The journey by bus took approximately 3-4 hours. We booked our tickets through our hotel, and the ride was an adventure in itself. The winding roads were more challenging than the infamous Pai route, and our driver possessed the driving skills of a Formula 1 racer. Nevertheless, we were rewarded with breathtaking natural landscapes, surrounded by the embrace of majestic mountains.

This is the bus we took, with stops along the way for tourists to rest.

We begin to see the differences from Da Lat city.

Upon arrival in Mui Ne, we embarked on a half-day tour encompassing four destinations: Fairy Stream, Fishing Village, White Sand, and Dune Sand. The tour, lasting approximately four hours, utilized a Jeep for transportation.

Mui Ne Half Day Package Tour

1. Fairy Stream: A natural watercourse flowing into the sea.

Fairy Stream, also known as the Grand Canyon of Vietnam, is a popular tourist destination in Mui Ne. Formed by erosion from water and wind, Fairy Stream boasts stunning formations similar to those found in Thailand's Phraya Nakhon Cave. A shallow stream, approximately ankle-deep, flows through the canyon, carrying red sand sediment towards the sea.

Shoes must be removed before entering. A stream of water flows throughout the path.

2. Fishing Village

The pier is another spot where tourists can take photos of hundreds of fishing boats returning to shore in the evening. There are also "ruea kratong," which are traditional fishing boats used by local villagers, that can be seen in this town.

Heading towards the sandy sea, the journey is quite a long way.

3. White Sand, a vast sand dune in Mui Ne, offers ATV and Jeep rentals. We opted for the Jeep, which proved to be the most cost-effective option for our group.

Enjoy the photos! Let the pictures speak for themselves.

The end of our Mui Ne trip was marked by a beautiful sunset, and we prepared to return to Ho Chi Minh City that night. We planned to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City early in the morning and return to Bangkok in the evening.
