"The 'TAKAYAMA JAPAN ALPS SNOW WALL' was a destination I had long dreamed of visiting. When the opportunity finally arose in late April to early May, I embarked on my journey. This trip report will not delve into the specifics of my travels, as there is a wealth of information available online for planning a trip to Japan. Instead, I want to share my experiences and photographs of the breathtaking views from the high altitudes."

Let's get to know this path a little bit.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, known as the "Roof of Japan," traverses the majestic Tateyama Mountains, reaching an altitude of 2,400 meters above sea level. This route connects Toyama and Nagano prefectures through various modes of transportation. The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route offers a unique spectacle of changing landscapes with the seasons. In spring, the route transforms into a snow corridor, with towering walls of snow, approximately 18 meters high, lining both sides of the road, contrasting vividly against the bright blue sky.
