This trip was completely pointless. There was nothing to do, so I decided to review the accommodation instead. The people I was with didn't want to go anywhere, and the place we had planned to visit was closed for renovations without any prior notice. If we had known it was closed, we would have changed our plans. When we arrived and found it closed, we were disappointed and didn't want to go anywhere else. In the afternoon, it rained. We had planned to stay from July 8th to 11th, but it turned out that the 11th wasn't a holiday, so we had to leave early. It was a big disappointment.

It's normal... everything went wrong on this trip, but it's a different kind of experience.

Fortunately...

Accommodation for a thousand baht. Let me tell you, 1,100 baht, but the view from the accommodation is amazing, Rama 8, 9, 10, very, very, very good.

We arrived very early in the morning. Fortunately, there was a vacant room, so the resort changed our room and allowed us to check in immediately. This enabled us to have breakfast on the same day. We had previously discussed leaving our luggage as the check-in time was 2:00 PM. However, it was fortunate that we were able to check in early because we had traveled by train. Although the room had a fan and was comfortable, we felt the need to take a shower.

Our room has a double bed and a fan. The nights are very cool and refreshing. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the room is quiet and peaceful.

The resort is surrounded by a wonderful atmosphere. The word "good" is used twice, and the word "very" is used once. This means that the atmosphere is very good. In fact, the view is so beautiful that you don't need to go anywhere else. I've already taken dozens of selfies at the resort, and I'm not even done yet.

The picture above is a moment when I forced my friend to take a beautiful picture of me.

Me: Take a picture of me so that Nong will think I'm thin.

Friend: ................... (Secretly rolled my eyes at my friend for a moment)

#Please don't zoom in. If you zoom in, you'll know that I'm actually very fat. 555+

Okay, let's continue.

After checking in, showering, having breakfast, and exploring the morning, the afternoon brought rain. Although it prevented further outings, it provided a different atmosphere. I spent the afternoon taking photos around the room and then napping. It was quite a journey to come so far by train just to sleep at the resort.

This is a picture of us rushing to our accommodation. If we didn't hurry, our makeup would have been smudged. We didn't care about the camera rolling, haha.

Upon arriving at the room, I took a refreshing shower (the cool water was very invigorating). Shortly after, the rain began to pour down.

Waking up in the late afternoon after the rain had stopped, the air felt as cool as winter.

It wasn't just the streams, rocks, and small trees that were there; there was also a swimming pool, and it was clean. But it was so cold that I couldn't bring myself to go swimming.

Our rare dinner treat! Since we're on vacation, let's splurge a little. Usually, I just eat fried eggs with rice, haha!

I would like to recommend the red car service. The driver, P'Poo, provided excellent service. He picked us up at the train station and drove us directly to our resort. He was very friendly and drove carefully. Initially, he quoted a price of 400 baht from the train station to Mae Rim, which included the resort. Before that, a tuk-tuk driver had quoted us 600 baht, which was outrageous. We quickly walked away from that offer.

We asked P'Poo if he could lower the price since there were only two of us. He smiled but didn't respond right away. We explained that 400 baht would be 200 baht per person, which was too expensive. He then agreed to lower the price to 300 baht, saying that he wanted to help us out.

In summary, the trip cost 300 baht to the resort. However, upon arrival, we realized the distance was significant, with steep and winding roads. The driver even took us directly to our accommodation on the mountain. After discussing it, we decided to pay him 400 baht as originally agreed. On our return trip, he picked us up and drove us back to the station for another 400 baht.

Please support my friend's business.

It's a very affordable place to stay if you're not a luxury person who needs a hot shower and air conditioning (they have air-conditioned rooms but at a different price). Our room was 1100 baht and we think it was very worth it.

Mae Sa Valley Garden Resort, Pong Yaeng, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai.

This concludes the review.
