Kanchanaburi is a captivating province renowned for its diverse tourist attractions. As you delve deeper into its charm, you'll uncover an abundance of stunning landmarks. Remarkably, this single province caters to a wide range of travel preferences, particularly adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers seeking the invigorating embrace of verdant mountains and pristine air.

Our destination this time was Thong Pha Phum District, a district in Kanchanaburi Province. If you're looking for a green natural getaway during the rainy season, we highly recommend this place. It's perfect for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. For this trip, we went on a road trip with four people. We didn't plan much, just intending to stay in Thong Pha Phum District and drive around the mountains. Throughout the journey, you'll be surrounded by lush green mountains, creating a truly immersive experience.

This is the entrance road to the resort where we stayed. Just the entrance is already amazing!

We stayed at Phu Ai Ra Resort, which cost 750 THB per night (we stayed for 2 nights). The highlight of the accommodation was the river stream and the lush greenery of the forest surrounding us.

Wake up to stunning views of the surrounding resort.

During the rainy season, the weather becomes cool and humid, with a slight chance of mold growth.

This is what we call a thriving ecosystem.

The resort's breakfast is served hot and delicious.

Thong Pha Phum National Park Viewpoint

We have truly come a long way for this.

Another viewpoint for mist

Jork Ka Din Waterfall
The word "Jork Ka Din" is a corruption of the original word "Gok Kra Dan".

Vachiralongkorn Dam

The Sai Yoi Nok Waterfall was conveniently located along our route, so we decided to stop and admire its beauty before continuing our journey back.

Paying respects and asking for blessings before embarking on the return journey.

🙏

The charm of the green mountains, the enchantment of the forest, the happiness I can never forget, I love you Thong Pha Phum.
