Hello everyone,
Today we will take you on a trip to Trat, Rayong, and Chanthaburi.
Recently, many people who travel to Trat, Chanthaburi, and Rayong enjoy fresh fruit buffets from the gardens.
Or they stay at homestays with seafood buffets.
But since we will focus on Chanthaburi and Rayong, we will not miss the landmarks such as
“Neung Nang Phaya Viewpoint”
and
“Khao Laem Ya National Park”
To be honest, we have visited these two provinces many times. We have been to the sea with our family, Koh Samet,
or other places in the province many times.
We have never visited these two landmarks before.
This time, we must go.
For many people, you may have been there before or even many times.
But for those who have never been there, try it.
Ready? Let's go....
Trat
When talking about Trat, many people think of Koh Chang, Koh Kood, and Koh Mak.
To be honest, it is a province that is not difficult to reach.
If you compare the beauty of the sea on the Gulf of Thailand side, these 3 islands are as beautiful as the Andaman side.
We will talk about Koh Chang.
Traveling from Bangkok to Koh Chang is convenient, with options for both vans and private vehicles.
If opting for a private vehicle, the journey takes approximately 3-4 hours to reach Koh Chang.
A 30-45 minute ferry ride from the mainland will take you to Koh Chang.
Vehicles are permitted on the island, and there are numerous activities available, including hiking, adventure, elephant riding, and diving.
There are numerous lodging options available, both beachfront and inland.
In conclusion, Koh Chang has something for everyone.
Chanthaburi
Chanthaburi is second to none.
Upon arriving in Chanthaburi, everyone can't help but talk about the beautiful landmark viewpoint at all times.
That is the viewpoint, the Nang Phaya Hill viewpoint.
If you encounter a large crowd, you may need to find a good spot.
Today, we chose to enjoy the view in the evening.
And this is the kind of view you get.
Truly beautiful, I must say.
Krok Ngong Viewpoint
And today we will be staying at PEGGY'S COVE RESORT, a resort located on Krung Wiman Beach.
The journey to the viewpoint is very short, just a quick drive away.
The resort boasts a striking visual appeal with its vibrant colors and design, reminiscent of a quaint fishing village.
The resort also offers a variety of on-site activities and delicious meals, served both in the evening and morning.
There are many tourist attractions within a short distance of the resort.
Just a 10-kilometer drive from PEGGY'S COVE RESORT,
or you can open Google Maps,
you will arrive at the Ao Kung Kraben Bay Development Study Center,
which was established under the royal initiative.
A short drive further, there is a fishing center with fish cages,
where various types of fish are raised.
While we can feed the fish in the cages, there are many different types of fish, even sharks.
However, when we arrived, the water was slightly cloudy due to the low tide, making it difficult to see the fish.
Next, follow Google Maps to the Pink Rock Field, located within the Kung Kraben Wildlife Sanctuary.
The entrance fee to the park is 20 baht per person.
Following the path, we will come across pink rocks. Alternatively, for those who prefer a nature trail,
There is also a shortcut that goes up to the stone platform.
Continuing our drive into the city, we encounter the vibrant riverside community of Chanthaburi. This bustling market offers a delightful array of culinary delights and picturesque photo opportunities.
In addition, near the riverside community of Chanthaburi, there is the magnificent and prominent Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Beautiful on the outside
Inner beauty is important,
but please dress modestly when entering the church.
In addition to the Chanthaburi Floating Market, where you can find delicious snacks,
Another interesting place is the "Strange Snacks Community" by the Nong Bua Canal. Unfortunately, we visited on a weekday today,
and most of the shops were closed. This community is known for selling a variety of unusual snacks.
If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit to try some of these unique treats.
If you happen to be passing by on a Saturday or Sunday, be sure to stop by and share your photos with us!
Rayong
Rayong Hi
I've been to Rayong many times, but I've never been to Khao Laem Ya.
Many people who come here probably think of Koh Samet.
Today, we're heading to Khao Laem Ya National Park.
This is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The stunning views of the ocean are truly breathtaking.
Even though the day we went was a bit cloudy and rainy, the wind in our faces and the smell of the sea made it a memorable experience.
For us, it was beautiful, and we believe we must come again.
We walked along the path, sometimes on rocks.
Walking on a wooden bridge
Beautiful from every angle.
Alternatively, if you prefer the ambiance, you can camp and witness the sunrise and sunset.
The park authorities have designated camping areas. Please contact the park for further information.
Another must-visit destination is Thung Prok Thong, a popular tourist spot.
It is a nature conservation area that promotes understanding of the mangrove ecosystem.
Visitors can learn about the beauty of mangrove forests and the nature of coastal plants.
Trendy restaurants in Rayong, Rayong Restaurants
A classic wooden shop in the Yomchinda Road area, offering both savory and sweet dishes.
And in the vicinity of Yomjinda Road, there are many other shops.
It is an old town community of Rayong with old houses and buildings that still retain their original beauty.
There are also various delicious traditional foods.
After a long day of sightseeing, let's continue to a small cafe in the village and take a break at Pati.
A cozy little white cafe with delicious pastries and refreshing cold drinks.
Trat, Rayong, and Chanthaburi offer a wide range of leisure activities.
If you visit during the fruit season, be sure to stop by the fruit orchards.
Then, find beautiful attractions and comfortable accommodations.
The drive from Bangkok takes 3-4 hours.
Make the most of your vacation and relax!
