Our incredibly long summer break. 5555

Travel is still possible, even to Kanchanaburi, which is very far away near the border, including Sangkhlaburi district.

Let's see the photos and get excited! My photography skills may not be the best, but I hope you enjoy them.

Our journey begins in the northeastern region, specifically in Surin.

The trip participants? There are 11 people, almost a dozen. We'll take the train, which costs 183 baht per person. The train departs at 8 pm and arrives at Hua Lamphong Railway Station at 5 am.

While waiting for the train, people engage in various activities, such as writing down their expenses.

Waiting while playing on your phone is also quite relaxing. 555

The train arrived unexpectedly, prompting a flurry of activity as passengers scrambled to board with their belongings. We were separated into different carriages, some in pairs and others alone, as the train was full and we hadn't booked tickets in advance. The three of us ended up sleeping in the dining car for an additional 50 baht since we had standing tickets. One of our friends later joined us as there were no seats available. We'll see if we make it to Bangkok. Phew!

The train is packed! So many people. Some are just waking up, looking for their tickets. A few are rushing to the bathroom. No worries, everyone. Ah, there it is! Train 909, the tourist train to Kanchanaburi. But oh no, the train is full. No standing tickets available either. The train to the rose garden only has four seats left, but there are 11 of us. What to do? Let's see what happens next.

Let's head to Mo Chit 2 Chatuchak by bus!

But which bus route should we take? 🤔

Let's ask the security guard! 👮‍♀️

"Bus number 49," they say. 🚌

Alright, let's find the number 49 bus! 🔍

Oh, it's a public bus! 🚏 And it's free! 🆓

Saving a few bucks! 🤑

The bus started with a jolt. The conductor cheerfully shouted, "Good morning, everyone! Get on board! Let's go!"

They have at least been to the capital of the country.

The model on the bus also has a secret photo of a friend, haha. The blurry one in the back is also our trip. Wherever we go, it's like we're renting a car. Should we get off? Don't be slow. Get off the bus, we've arrived at Mo Chit.

Upon exiting the vehicle, we headed towards the passenger terminal building. A stranger approached us and inquired about our destination. We responded in unison, "Kanchanaburi." The stranger then offered us a ride in their van, to which we initially agreed and followed them. However, upon realizing it was a van, we decided to politely decline and walk away. Our friend assured us they would help us find a bus to Sangkhla Buri. We proceeded to the first floor of the passenger terminal building to inquire about buses. We were informed that the only available buses were bound for Sai Tai Mai in Rangsit. Feeling lost and unsure of how to proceed, we considered returning to the van but felt too embarrassed. We decided to take the van to Kanchanaburi first and then find a way to Sangkhla Buri from there. The van was parked outside the bus terminal, on the left side. The fare for the van was 120 baht. We boarded the van, which quickly filled up.

This isn't our van.

I'm in Kanchanaburi now and feeling hungry. Let's grab some lunch. The usual grilled pork and meatballs sound good! 555

The bus is very crowded. Is the line long? The bus has already left, let's go!

At the checkpoint, the soldiers were very handsome. That's all, just eye candy. 555

We're almost in Kanchanaburi, just 200 kilometers away! Our friend has been sleeping for almost 10 hours straight.

Before reaching Sangkhla Buri, we encountered this child. We had been hearing their voice all along the way, and finally, they showed their face. They were incredibly adorable. At first, we thought they were a boy, but it turned out they were a girl.

Rest stop in Thong Pha Phum district. The clouds are gathering, please don't rain! It's almost 100 kilometers away. It's 2 pm now, and I'm worried we won't be able to enjoy our trip.

They came to us again, this time asking us to take a picture for them. 555, so cute.

Taking a break for lunch. We eat so often, haha. 55

The 30 baht noodle stall must have some kind of connection here, they always park here, both on the way there and back. Haha, it must be delicious.

Eating noodles, and then eating again, haha. Eating ice cream to cool down.

Did you see him? We've already passed him. 555 There are so many of them.
