Hello.
A long weekend of 3 days, at first I didn't think of going anywhere. But when my friend requested to go around the cool cafes in Pattaya, we went.
We discussed whether to make a day trip or stay overnight. We decided to stay one night and searched for hotels. We wanted to try a new place and found this hotel. It's a new hotel in Pattaya that opened last year. It's affordable, has all the amenities we need, and is conveniently located near popular cafes and restaurants.
FX Hotel Pattaya
Located at the entrance of Soi Pratumnak 4, not far from South Pattaya Road.
It's a hotel under the Furama International group. In Bangkok, there are three branches: Furama Silom, FuramaXclusive (Asoke Sathorn and Sukhumvit), and FX Hotel Makkasan.
First, we booked the hotel through the Traveloka application. If you stay on weekdays, the cheapest price will be around 700-900 baht, which is very cheap for a hotel with good amenities like this.
This trip, we traveled without a private car. We took a bus from Ekamai Bus Terminal. The bus ticket price was 108 baht (first counter on the right). It took us 2 hours to reach Pattaya North Bus Terminal. Then, we took a shared taxi in the terminal, telling the driver the name of our hotel and its location (FX Hotel, Soi Pratumnak 4). This time, it cost 100 baht (previously, we used to pay 50 baht to get to Laem Bali Hai Pier. I'm not sure if the price has changed before this trip).
Parking is available for those who drive, but spaces are limited.
Taking a shared taxi from the transportation hub, we arrived at the hotel just in time for the 2 pm check-in.
After receiving our key card, we teleported to our room. We had booked a Superior room, but it was fully occupied.
The hotel kindly upgraded us to a Deluxe pool view room with a balcony outside our door.
Insert the keycard. When the green light flashes, turn it down and slide it to the right. (Whew... it took me a while to open it 555)
Looking down, you can see the swimming pool. It's a bit blue.
Let's take a look at the room options. There are 5 types of rooms available:
Superior - Garden View: 27 sqm, 1 king-size bed or 2 single beds
Deluxe - Pool Access: 27 sqm, 2 single beds and 1 king-size bed
Premier - Larger than Courtyard
Family - Mountain View: 38 sqm, 3 single beds and 1 sofa bed
Courtyard - 1 king-size bed or 2 beds for 4 people, located downstairs by the pool
***Free WiFi in all rooms. The internet is strong and reliable.***
The room will include a sofa at the foot of the bed, a clothes drying rack, and a small pantry.
The room has enough outlets to charge your mobile phone or power bank.
The bathroom does not have a bathtub, only a shower.
The shampoo here is a 2-in-1 formula that includes conditioner. We find it convenient for washing hair.
After packing their bags, they went downstairs to explore the amenities, which included a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a game room.
During the three-day holiday weekend, families flock to the resort, with children enjoying the swimming pool. Please note that the water slide is restricted to children only.
The swimming pool has a depth ranging from 0.8 meters to 1.5 meters.
We were surprised to find a game room that could be enjoyed by both children and adults.
We appreciate the vibrant colors of this hotel. The photos turn out looking fresh and lively, with the green artificial grass, the blue swimming pool, the light blue slide, the orange seating, and the white and orange building facade.
This weekend's trip to Pattaya from July 28th to 30th was blessed with sunshine. While friends posted gloomy skies on Facebook, we were fortunate to experience clear weather. We opted for a one-night stay, returning to Bangkok on Saturday, July 29th, to enjoy a relaxing Sunday before the workweek begins.
On Saturday morning, I woke up feeling hungry. I went downstairs to have breakfast and see what was available.
The menu consists of bread, fruits, fruit juices, tea and coffee, rice dishes, salads, cereals, and rice porridge. It looks delicious (everything looks delicious when you're hungry, haha).
Take only as much as you can eat, don't fill up and take more. Eat to your heart's content.
***The stir-fried pork here is delicious.
After breakfast, we went swimming in the pool and then showered, packed our bags, and prepared to check out at 12:00 PM. Before returning to Bangkok, we planned to visit a café on Koh Larn.
If you have the opportunity to visit Pattaya and are looking for a new hotel to stay in, FX Hotel Pattaya is a great option. They currently have a promotion that includes access to Cartoon Network Waterpark and a one-night stay for two people, valid until October 31st. (Roundtrip transportation to the waterpark is also included.) The starting price for a weekend stay at this hotel is around 1,000 baht. During your trip, you can easily visit nearby attractions such as The Sky Gallery, Walking Street, Bali Hai Pier, and the Khao Phra Tamnak viewpoint.
We traveled by GrabCar, which is cheaper than in Bangkok. It's a good option for those who don't have their own car. The hotel is easy to find.
Thank you for watching. Please share this video. Thank you for your time.
If there are any mistakes, please forgive me.
