This trip is one day trip - we will focus on the attractions that we have never been there. We will go to HKwalls Street Art, Anti - Com Park @ Habour" FUN"

[2016-08-16]

We start our trip from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by Subway Shenzhen Line 1 and we get off at Luo Hu

We then take the Exit A (1,2,3) and follow the sign to Immigration.

Once we are at Hong Kong immigration, we are requested to interview room, we have awaited for the immigration officers for a while and then been interviewed with general questions of being in Hong Kong, they are mostly about accommodation, return ticket, money and itinerary. We have presented all the documents to the officers.

There we go! we can enter to Hong Kong now, we then buy MRT ticket to the downtown, we take the train from Lo Wu station to Yua Ma Tei, the ticket fee is 43.5 HKD. Let's go.

It takes about 30 minutes, we need to change to another route from Easr Rail Line to Kwun Tong Line at Kowloon Tong.

Our destination is Orchid Inn, we get off at Yua Ma Tei station, take Exit C and continue walking about 500 meters. This hotel is easily found, it is located on the 7th floor at Alhambra building. Normally, the check in starts at 14.00 hrs. Since we have arrived earlier,hence we have left the luggage at the hotel and go to discover the city instead.

This hotel is close to Temple Market Street, it takes a few minutes from the hotel to this market. But it is quite quiet at in the market because it is the midday and the merchants have not started their shops yet. We continue walking to MRT, our first destination is HKwalks Street Art.

HKwalls Street Art

We take MRT to Sham Shui Po station (Tsuen Wan Line) Exit A2. Once get off from MRT, then turn left and continue walking along Apliu road till Nam Cheong. Our mission has been started, we have discovered many painting on the wall.

Ani-Com Park@Harbour"FUN"

We walk back to Wan Chai station (Island Line) Exit A5, we walk on the bridge passing Immigration Tower/ Central Plaza. There will be the sign indicated how to get to Anti-Com Park@ Habour "Fun" / Convention @ Exhibition Center. To keep continue walking till the entrance of Harbour View and turn right. Then we can see the crossing way to Great Eagle Centre and heading to Expo road. You can easily notice of how to go to Great Eagle Centre by observing that there is the coffee café and 7-11 over there.

We need to cross to about 2 -3 intersections, then we can see the big golden lotus in front of Convention & Exhibition Center.

Finally, we reach Anti-Com Park, the park which is full of cartoon statues. We do not hesitate to take the photos of them.

In the late evening, the weather is very nice, we are able to chill out till the night time.

We would like to grab your attention to enjoy seeing the twilight at Kowloon or awaiting to see the atmosphere of SOL. Unfortunately, we could not await till the night time because it is very cloudy, we are afraid that it will rain heavily.

It is time to go back to MRT to go back to the accommodation.

[2016-08-17] To go back to Thailand

We go back to Thailand with Thai Air Asia airline flight FD206 from Hong Kong to Chiang Mai, the flight has departed from Hong Kong at 10.35 hrs. and arrived Chiang Mai at 12.20 hrs.

We wake up early for checking out and take MRT to Tsing Yi station (Tung Chung Line). We would like to try Airport Express, we then decide to buy Airport Express ticket @ 60 HKD (it is very expensive with duration of 1 station).

Even though, it is only the distance between 1 station but it is far. Once we arrive at Hong Kong airport, we check in at the counter and still have plenty of time to have a sip of coffee before taking flight to Thailand.
