"For our vacation, I really want to chill in Hua Hin. Can you find a beautiful resort with a swimming pool where we can jump in the pool as soon as we open the door?"

When our gang of friends gave us this challenge, how could we, as travel enthusiasts, not indulge them? So we went on a quest to find them the perfect accommodation. This trip not only included our gang of friends, but she also brought her two young children, a 5-month-old and a 1.5-year-old. This was our first time traveling with young children, so we needed to find a place that was relatively quiet and private. That's when we came across vann hua hin resort, which is located between Cha-am and Hua Hin. It's a small resort with only 11 rooms, and every room has Pool Access. All you have to do is open the balcony door and jump right in! What's more, the resort's swimming pool is a saltwater pool, which is good for the skin of both young children and adults. Let's go to the resort now!

Vann Hua Hin Resort is located at the end of Cha-am, almost reaching Hua Hin. Getting there is easy; simply follow the directions on Google Maps. As you drive from Bangkok, the resort entrance will be on your left, just past the "Zaab E Lee" restaurant. Look for the resort's sign at the entrance and drive approximately 350 meters. The resort will be on your right.

Prior to check-in, guests are greeted with a refreshing welcome drink of chilled jujube water.

The resort's lobby features a modern design with warm tones and a high, airy ceiling.

While the resort is not directly on the beach, it is only a short 400-meter drive or bike ride away. The resort provides bicycles for guests who wish to cycle to the beach for exercise.

Upon check-in, before heading to our rooms, the staff presented us with a breakfast menu for the following morning. The menu offered an à la carte selection, allowing each guest to choose one dish from a total of 11 options. As we were a large group, we had the opportunity to sample a diverse range of dishes without any repetition.

Let's take a look at the swimming pool here. The pool is a saltwater system, with a long length, located in the center, flanked by guest rooms. All room types here are pool access, so you can simply open your room door and enjoy soaking your feet, jumping in, or swimming around. Oh! The pool lights will be turned off at 10pm, but you can actually swim all day long. It's just that there won't be any lights after 10pm.

The Accommodation

This resort offers four types of rooms, but we will focus on the one we stayed in during this trip: the Vann Villa Pool Access. This villa features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool. It is ideal for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to four guests. However, additional beds can be requested for larger groups. During our stay, we were a group of five, including two children, and the resort kindly provided an extra bed in the living room.

The welcome cookies in the room were delicious coconut cookies. The resort provides them in every room. We ate them all, haha!

This type of villa offers a communal area or lounge for socializing and relaxing. Additionally, it features a small kitchen for your convenience. If you plan to cook, you'll find plates, bowls, spoons, glasses, a pan, an electric stove, a microwave, and a large refrigerator. This makes it ideal for preparing simple meals and enjoying refreshing drinks.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed with white and blue linens. The bed is soft and inviting, and the sheets are clean and crisp.

The bathroom features a wet and dry separation, complete with bath towels, pool towels, and a full range of toiletries.

Let's take a look at the smaller bedroom. The bedding is the same as in the master bedroom, but the room is smaller. The bathroom in the smaller bedroom does not have a rain shower like the master bedroom.

The soft bed is a big hit with the kids.

The balcony in front of the room features a large sofa for relaxing, enjoying drinks, or even hosting poolside parties.

From a high vantage point, the resort offers a breathtaking view of the nearby sea.

It's time to play in the water! The children are having a lot of fun because the salt water pool is not only gentle on their delicate skin, but also doesn't sting their eyes. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling, and the pool here is quite long, so they can swim and play all day long.

The resort offers a variety of inflatable pool toys, including unicorn and flamingo designs, for guests to borrow free of charge. Additionally, the resort provides its own inflatable pool toys specifically for young children.

After swimming until the evening, we showered and changed clothes before having dinner. We ordered food from the resort because we didn't want to waste time driving out to eat, especially with a young child. It was more convenient to eat at the resort.

The dining area of the resort offers a pleasant atmosphere.

For dinner, we ordered simple dishes that were surprisingly delicious. Guests can request room service to have their meals delivered to their rooms. However, we opted to eat outside to avoid lingering food smells, as one of our friends was sleeping in the living room.

Before bed, a staff member will knock on your door and serve a complimentary goodnight drink, which consists of hot milk or hot cocoa.

The next morning, we arranged with the resort to have breakfast at 9:00 AM. Guests who do not wish to eat in the lobby can have their breakfast delivered to their room. However, we opted to walk to the dining area to avoid any lingering food smells in our room.

The breakfast menu here offers a wide variety of 11 dishes. During our trip, our large group was able to sample every dish without repetition, and we can confidently say that everything was delicious. Let's take a look at some of the highlights.

Eggs Benedict

Pan-Fried Egg

Beef Burger

Chicken Sandwich

Shrimp congee

Rice porridge with side dishes

Stir-fried minced pork with basil and shrimp

Green Curry with Beef

Toast + Butter, Jam

After breakfast, the children continued to play in the water. As the resort did not have many guests staying there due to it being a weekday, we took the opportunity to take pictures of other types of rooms to share with you.

Vann Pool Access Room

The Vann Pool Access Room is the smallest room offered by the resort, accommodating two guests. The interior design mirrors that of the other room types, featuring a king-size bed and a sofa. The room's balcony overlooks the pool and provides seating for relaxation.

Vann Pool Suite

This suite offers a more spacious layout, accommodating 2-3 guests. It features a king-size bed (6 feet) and a sofa bed that can be converted into a comfortable sleeping space.

Vann Pool Villa: This spacious villa boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room, similar to our current accommodation. However, it features an additional private plunge pool within the villa itself. Moreover, the balcony of this room offers direct access to the main swimming pool, making it ideal for families seeking enhanced privacy.

The Vann Pool Villa features a private swimming pool with a lounge area and a large sofa.

In summary, our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vann Huahin Resort. The resort's ambiance, saltwater swimming pool, and exceptional staff service left a lasting impression. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Its amenities and services exceeded our expectations, making it an ideal choice for a memorable vacation.
