Before entering the waterfall area, whether you choose to zipline or not, an entrance fee of 40 baht per person is required. Follow the signs within the resort. Most waterfalls in Laos are leased to foreign investors. For example, Tad Fane and Tad Pha Suam, which are not far apart, are invested in by Thai people who have built resorts. Even most of the tea and coffee plantations in this area are owned by Thai and Vietnamese people who have actively engaged in business since Laos opened its borders almost 20 years ago. Over 80% of tourists in this area are Thai, so there is no doubt that Thai currency is widely used in southern Laos. The zipline concession is also owned by the same company, Green Discovery Laos, which operates the zipline at Tad Seua-Tad Khammou, also known as Tree Top Explorer.
Recommendations
- Strict adherence to safety regulations is essential when participating in this type of activity. A thorough understanding of the equipment's operation is also crucial.
- Most commonly used camera equipment includes smartphones, action cameras like GoPro, SJ4000, and Xiaomi. While DSLR cameras are allowed, staff advises against bringing them due to the high risk of damage from potential falls. Compact cameras are a safer option.
