Travel log 2 September 2017

Every Saturday, Pan has an art class for children that ends at noon, leaving her with a free afternoon. This is the starting point of this article. Pan made an appointment with a friend who lives near Ramkhamhaeng to visit the Kwan-Riam Floating Market. This is not her first visit, but it is the first time she will be sharing her experience at the Kwan-Riam Floating Market.

The afternoon sky was clear and the clouds were beautiful, making for stunning photos. However, it was incredibly hot. If you visit the Kwan-Riam Floating Market, don't miss the beautiful view from this bridge. It's a must-visit spot for taking photos and checking in.

Crossing the bridge, you will find shops and a view like this. You can see Wat Bang Pheng Tai by the river, which is beautiful. If you walk down this way, you will find tourist boats. I'm not sure how much they charge per person, but I apologize for not asking. However, I know that they are tourist boats that take you on a tour of the atmosphere on both sides of the river and the houses along the river. If anyone has been on one, please let me know what it's like.

The market offers a variety of food options, with designated seating areas scattered throughout for visitors to enjoy their meals.

Kwan-Riam Floating Market is a large market with two sides. There are also boat alleys where you can walk in and shop in a riverside atmosphere.

Oh! I came across this delicious food with stretchy cheese. If you're a cheese lover, you can stop by and support the shop. It's located by the canal, near the dining tables.

Another aspect of this market that Pan particularly enjoys is the presence of animals, resembling a miniature zoo. Adorable fluffy sheep are available for feeding.

This passage describes a variety of animals encountered at a location, likely a zoo or animal sanctuary.

  • "Alpaca" with a mischievous face, who likes to beg for food. This sentence describes an alpaca with a playful personality, known for its tendency to solicit treats from visitors.
  • Parrots, ducks, geese, flamingos. This lists various bird species present at the location, offering a diverse range of avian life.
  • I think children would enjoy it if they were brought here. This expresses the belief that the location would be an enjoyable experience for children due to the presence of the animals.

As the afternoon transitions into evening, around 4 or 5 pm, the atmosphere transforms into a tranquil oasis. The gentle breeze carries the sounds of nature, inviting you to relax by the water's edge. As you feed the birds and fish, a sense of contentment washes over you, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

This is a brief tour of the market. I didn't take many pictures because I was busy looking for food. Haha. Here's a summary of the 7 things I found at the Kwan-Riam Floating Market.

1. There is a morning boat alms offering ceremony around 6-7 am.

2 is a floating market where most of the goods are sold on land.

Three alternatives for city dwellers tired of shopping malls

4 Abundant Food Options

Free shuttle service available at the entrance.

There are multiple elevators located throughout the building for the convenience of elderly and disabled individuals.

Besides strolling through the market, visitors can also make merit as the market is adjacent to a temple.

Thank you to everyone who has read this far. I have more gossip to share, so stay tuned!
