Greetings everyone, we are back again. We haven't stopped exploring the wilderness, but we haven't written any reviews lately because we haven't encountered any spectacular views. We've mostly encountered thick fog, and in some places, we haven't found any beautiful scenery.

Some trips we get stuck in traffic and don't reach the top, but every trip is fun. We make lots of friends. Come on, I think it's time. It's our day. We have a trip with a view that makes our hearts swell, and we want our friends to go with us.

A 2-day, 1-night trekking trip to Mon Puai, Mae Moei National Park, Tak Province, on August 26-27, 2017.

Let me see the picture first.

Information about Mon Pui fog.

This is a scenic spot where you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea of mist, as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

The journey from the park headquarters requires a 4 km hike, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. An overnight stay is necessary. Be prepared for a physically demanding trek, as the 4 km trail is steep and uphill with minimal flat or downhill sections. During the late rainy and early winter seasons, hikers can enjoy the diverse flora, insects, and lush ferns along the trail.

It's not as harsh as it sounds, trust us. There are no amenities at the top, just water from a stream that the porters fetch for you to wash vegetables and cook with.

Let's get to know each other better. Feel free to say hello, chat, or ask for advice. Just don't ask to borrow money! ;)

If you're interested in joining us on a hike, check out our various trips.

This is the page for Little Traveler.

After selling our goods, we felt relieved and continued our journey. 😜

Let's take a look at some beautiful pictures from above. Do you want to go?

Curious child: Sister, how can I go to Mon Pui Fog?

Kind Jack: Don't worry, dear. (soft voice, compassionate towards fellow human) Call this number, Mae Maey District Office, 088 2907964, and inform the officer that you will be coming.

Hike up Doi Mon Pu, a mountain shrouded in mist.

A guide is necessary to avoid getting lost, and the cost is 800 baht. Porters charge 15 baht per kilogram.

Entrance fee to the national park is 40 baht, and camping fee is 30 baht. The starting point for the hike is located within the park.

Curious child: Thank you for the information, you are very kind.

Jack the Kind: You're welcome.

Jack, what's wrong with you? You're asking and answering your own questions. What's going on? Haha.

Let's continue the story. Jack saw a picture of a beautiful sea of fog. When he looked up the information, he realized he had to hike up to see it. There was no way he could escape alone like this.

Jack organized a trip through his page, inviting his followers to join. The group ended up with 9 members, making a total of 10 people.

The trip was originally planned for 9 days, but it was shortened due to unforeseen circumstances. The details of the cancellation will be explained later.

We set off on our journey on Friday, August 25th, around 9:30 PM.

It was already dawn when we arrived at Tha Song Yang, around 6:00 AM.

We bought fresh produce at the Mae Taen Municipal Market in Tha Song Yang District.

There are no seafood for sale here. There is a 7-Eleven here, so you can buy anything you need.

From Mae Taeng village, we headed straight to the park. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, with lush green rice fields against a backdrop of mountains.

Mist gently floats around the mountain peaks, creating a serene atmosphere. The members were likely captivated by the breathtaking view.

They seem to be getting along well, despite having just met. This is typical of the friendly nature of people who enjoy spending time outdoors.

We soon arrived at the Mae Moei National Park headquarters. It was incredibly quiet, as there weren't many tourists around at that time. This was exactly what we were looking for.

The mist viewing points here include Mon Khuba Sai, Mon Phun Sudha, and Mon Kiw Lom. All of these are accessible by car, except for Mon Pui Hok, which requires a hike and an overnight stay in a tent at the viewpoint. This means you can wake up to the view without having to rush up the mountain. We decided to visit Mon Khuba Sai first, which is about a 9-kilometer drive from the base.

But we only got a hazy fog, not like in your review, Chanom. 5555

I just found out that this is a group trip with a lot of fog. Oh my god, I'm not feeling well.

Return to the park office, arrange luggage, change clothes.

Thank you for the picture, P'Fon.

This is my backpack. How many kilograms is it?

Carry 9 kilos.

The sign work must come.

With that settled, we embarked on our trek, wading through a thicket of leeches, towards the misty peak of Mon Pui.

The AC office also has a waterfall.

Here's the map.

Ready? If you are, follow us.

There are still waterfalls here, so refreshing.

On the way, I met villagers carrying bamboo shoots out of the forest. There are a lot of bamboo shoots in this area.

The grandmother looks very healthy.

Come on, come on, come on, come on.

Hey, don't sit there! It might break. 5555

The road is a bit steep.

We visited during the rainy season, when the trails were lush and vibrant. However, there were also a significant number of leeches present.

A leech attached itself to a shoe every 5 minutes, causing the person to shriek each time. Unable to grab it, they resorted to spraying it with boxing liniment, which caused the leech to detach itself.

Jack is unlucky. He loves hiking but is afraid of slugs.

Continue walking to reach Pha Tew Waterfall.

Walk and rest, wait for each other, otherwise you will get lost. There are many ways to go.

Lost in a maze of snails, unsure of the path forward. The lack of directional signage adds to the amusement.

The park will be equipped with it in the future.

There are many beautiful spots for taking photos along the way. I especially like this place with its green grass and black rocks.

This area has a signal. We can live stream on Facebook around here.

We took photos all the way, haha. Thanks to P'Lee for this photo.

They continue to walk. Thank you for the picture from Fox.

Take a break when you're tired.

Thank you for this picture, P'Lee.

Let's keep walking, guys. The officer said it's only 10 more minutes. Wait a minute, I've been walking for a long time now. I don't think it's 10 minutes.

Oh, I think the firefighters put out the fire.

After a short walk, we will come across a hot spring, but it is not for humans. It is for the buffaloes from the village far, far away.

It seems we're almost there. Just a little further and… we're finally…

We have arrived.

Despite the overwhelming whiteness, we quickly set up camp and pitched our tents, as there were no views to admire. We then sat down to enjoy our lunch.

Let's cook something together since we have nothing to do.

Add whatever you want.

Eggs of the bird

The food was not yet cooked when the rain poured heavily.

The photos of the food didn't turn out very well, haha. The rain didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon, so we ate and then went our separate ways to our tents. It rained heavily until midnight, but luckily we had bought K2 waterproof tents for this trip, so we were comfortable.

We woke up before dawn and saw a faint mist. We thought we were lucky.

Enter the tent and prepare your belongings for the photoshoot.

Click click click click click click click click. We got this picture. Oh my god, it's so cute!

The sea of mist has vanished. After waiting for a while, the sky began to clear slightly, and we quickly took some pictures.

Keep watching, they're coming!

In the end, we won! The heavens opened up for us. Amen. We say amen because...

According to Bank, he spent the entire night praying. He even prayed for a sea of fog. What a character!

They took a lot of photos.

And then the camera shutters went wild!

My model, 5555, is likely to be a prop in the future.

We took photos here for approximately 3 hours, including portraits and landscape shots.

Clicking the shutter non-stop.

The thicker the mist, the clearer the sky.

Let's jump together.

Shoe bank flies

Despite numerous attempts, the photographer was unable to capture a satisfactory image, resulting in a ripped pair of pants for the model.

Let's continue to see the atmosphere.

How are you doing? Is it cool?

There are few times when you can see a view like this.

We have encountered both foggy and clear conditions in various locations.

I have been stuck before, unable to reach the summit.

However, everything has a story, a value.

It helps us grow.

Grown with experience…..

It's not because they've been on this earth for a long time….

It can also be meaningful.

I'm tired of taking pictures. Let me brush my teeth for a bit.

Photo by P'Lee. What a lovely couple.

Open the tent to let out the humidity.

How tall is P'Ball?

Wait, are we stealing the tripod now? Hehe.

This fog is perfect for a time-lapse.

The phone was placed on the stand, and then it was kicked over. 55555 What did they do wrong?

The ultimate solution: tie your selfie stick to a tree. It works wonders!

While everyone was busy taking photos, our selfless friend, P'Lop, was busy grilling pork for us.

It was marinated overnight and the flavor is very well-rounded this morning.

Two chefs.

A stolen image of Rain.

We took photos until our hearts were content. We enjoyed the fog for about 3 hours. The fog began to dissipate.

Lost in the joy of taking photos, I didn't notice the leech. When I looked down at my foot again, the leech was already attached and had begun to suck blood.

The fog has lifted, it's time to eat!

Food in the forest, what can you expect? Eat whatever you can find, haha.

After finishing our meal, we gathered for a group photo. The officer kindly took the picture for us. Thank you!

The next task is to pack up the tents, collect the garbage, and prepare to descend the mountain. Before we leave, let's take a moment to appreciate the view.

Okay, let's stop filming and follow the officer. Otherwise, we'll get lost. It's full of fog, and we can't see the path.

We then safely arrived at the park headquarters, where we showered, washed our hair, and changed our clothes.

Bidding Farewell to Mae Moei National Park

The story of Mon Pui, the misty mountain, has come to an end. On a day when the fog was thick, it was worth running through the thicket of leeches to reach the summit.

Thank you to everyone who joined the journey: Lee, Ball, Fon, Lop, Non, Fox, Ged, and Bank, the admin of the "Travel Don't Stop, Just Stumble for Money" page.

Despite the disappointment of being stood up, the trip was fantastic. The company was excellent, the scenery was breathtaking, and the food was delicious.

If you're looking for an atmosphere like this, try to find time to visit Mon Pui. The fog is truly beautiful. Highly recommended.

Hurry up and go! The mountain is not yet famous, so it is still private. If there are too many people, it will not be fun. Trust me.

Jack has many more stories to tell, and I will gradually write them for you. Thank you to everyone who has read to the last line.

Jack hopes this review will inspire many people to travel.

Not as comfortable as walking in a mall, but having someone walk beside you makes it okay.
