This trip was a spontaneous decision. A beautiful woman invited me to climb Mount Noh, following a review we had both seen. I agreed immediately, without hesitation. We set off on Saturday, September 9, 2017, by train, departing from Bangkok Station at 7:00 AM.

The train journey continued leisurely, with passengers enjoying the scenery until they reached Bang Pa-in Railway Station. The two carriages carrying the bicycles were detached, causing a 15-minute delay. Upon arrival at Ayutthaya Station, another 15-minute wait ensued to allow a sprinter train to pass. The train, a rapid service to Den Chai, finally reached Nakhon Sawan, where friends had been waiting for some time. After regrouping, the group decided to have dinner before heading to Khao Noh to capture the sunset.

My friend took me to eat at Nai Tee Fish Ball Restaurant, where we ordered three bowls of spicy fish ball noodles, fried fish cakes, fried shrimp cakes, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was delicious, especially the fried fish cakes. However, the spicy fish ball noodles were a bit too mild for my taste, so I had to add more chili flakes. The total cost of the meal was 220 baht.

After a satisfying meal, we strolled to the neighboring shop, Bitter Sweet, where the two ladies indulged in sweet treats while I opted for a hot latte. Our order consisted of three beverages, three desserts, and three scoops of ice cream, totaling 390 baht. The desserts were delectable and beautifully presented.

After a satisfying meal, we waited for our food to settle before leaving the city center at 4:00 PM. The journey to Khao No took 40 minutes. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a multitude of tourists and monkeys. The monkeys here were remarkably well-behaved, refraining from snatching belongings. The vendor advised us not to touch the monkeys, as they might become accustomed to human interaction and become more intrusive, potentially jumping on people and snatching their belongings. We were impressed by the community's thoughtful approach to managing the monkeys. We purchased water and began our ascent at nearly 5:00 PM. The path to the summit of Khao No consisted of approximately 700 steps, followed by 5 sections of monkey ladders.

The climb was enjoyable as I took in the sights and sounds around me, preventing fatigue. I playfully explored the surroundings.

The breathtaking views along the way compensated for the fatigue.

The scene unfolds like a giant movie screen, showcasing a vast expanse of rice fields and the evening sky.

The summit of Khao No features a replica of the Buddha's footprint within an ancient pavilion.

The mountaintop offered numerous scenic viewpoints, prompting us to capture countless photographs. We also obliged requests to take pictures for others, contributing to the overall merriment. As usual, my adventurous spirit led me to explore every nook and cranny.

Crossing to the other side to capture the angle with the religious flag, this side is also beautiful. Thanks to the model in the picture.

We retraced our steps back down to the popular spot where everyone climbs to take photos. We joined the crowd, including our beautiful model.

As the last photo was taken, the phone was turned to capture the setting sun.

As the light faded, it was time to descend. Our group was the last to go down. Our model told us to hurry down before it got dark, as she didn't like walking in the dark without being familiar with the path. The descent took only 10 minutes and was a lot of fun. Although we were the last to descend, we caught up with the others who had gone down the concrete stairs before us. By the time we reached the bottom, it was already very dark. Due to the darkness, we were unable to explore the cave and the surrounding area, and we also missed out on feeding the monkeys bananas.

While waiting for our friend to pick us up, we sat by the roadside. The people in this area were very friendly and helpful. They stopped to ask us if we needed anything and told us that we could ask them for help if we needed it. Another person offered to stay and chat with us, but we didn't want to bother them as they had been selling goods all day. Besides, we didn't feel scared as we had monkeys and dogs for company.

My friends picked me up for dinner at Krua Chalie 2016. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

The trip to Khao No was a memorable one, filled with delicious food that left us feeling satisfied.

P.S. The beautiful model would like to add that...

Note: Wear thick pants to protect yourself from sharp rocks when sitting or lying down to take photos.

Note 2: Bring gloves to protect your hands from sharp rocks, allowing you to climb freely.
