With limited time and budget, finding a scenic spot for a relaxing sunset photo session can be challenging. However, Talad Rot Fai (Train Night Market) at Tha Maharaj emerges as an ideal solution. On a lazy afternoon, escape the boredom and head over to this easily accessible location for a quick and enjoyable experience.

- Take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin Station (42 baht from BTS Mo Chit Station). Exit through Gate 1 and walk towards the pier area.
- Orange flag ship (innermost) 15 baht all the way

- Take a ferry from Wang Lang Pier (3 baht per person) to Tha Maharaj Pier.
After boarding the boat and securing a seat on the left side of the deck, we embarked on a journey to fully immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds of life along the Chao Phraya River.
Upon disembarking at Wang Lang Pier, we have the option to either stroll through the Wang Lang Market or proceed directly across the river to Maharaj Pier.
Situated on the Rattanakosin Island along the Chao Phraya River, Tha Maharaj is a vibrant lifestyle destination in the heart of Bangkok.
As the sun began its descent, we ascended to the second floor, securing a spot on the balcony. We eagerly awaited the sunset, accompanied by the soothing melodies of live music and the mesmerizing transformation of the Chao Phraya River as it transitioned from day to night.
Let your mind wander, cast your worries to the gentle breeze, and return to the new week with a fully charged battery.
