The dam itself is very large and there are many car ferries that provide a shortcut across the winding roads, significantly reducing travel time. For example, we took this ferry and crossed in just 10 minutes for 60 baht, saving us 30 kilometers.

For directions, it is recommended to find the coordinates and type "Sweet Home Floating House" into your smartphone. This will lead you to the correct location, as explaining the route in words would be confusing. Once you arrive at the island, you will be able to see your car parked on the shore. They will then pick you up by boat free of charge.

A short 2-3 minute boat ride will take you to the raft. The beautiful green water is a clear indication that there is no electricity.
