Kanchanaburi: A Short Trip to the River Kwai
Kanchanaburi, a popular tourist destination located 129 kilometers from Bangkok, boasts a rich history and diverse landscapes. This forested province, characterized by both open woodlands and dense jungles, is traversed by two major rivers: the Kwai Yai and the Kwai Noi, which converge to form the Mae Klong River.
Accessible by car, train, or bus, Kanchanaburi offers a variety of travel options. During our brief 2-day, 1-night trip, we explored the majestic rivers of Kanchanaburi, experiencing a true escape from the city.
The captivating beauty of the roadside forest was incredibly refreshing. Our journey felt short as we slept most of the way (haha). We've arrived at the resort already.
"Tonight, we'll stay here, at The River Kwai Paradise. Shall we go inside and take a look?"
This accommodation has multiple sections, including rooms on the hillside and rooms by the river. Plus, there are two swimming pools! Let's meet tonight at the pool. We can continue to the river area later.
The walkway to our room.
This is the view from our room, it's super relaxing. And this is our room.
We will have our meal around here.
After resting and enjoying the scenery of the water, forest, and mountains, we sat down to wait for our meal.
The first meal here was lunch, which was chicken rice.
After we were full, we went to sleep. 5555 Then we went to play in the pool. At first, we were going to play in the river, but because of the rain, the river water was very red and flowing very fast.
After a relaxing nap and a refreshing swim, it was time for dinner.
And then I went to sleep. 5555 Resting.
Good morning, breakfast.
After waking up, we will have breakfast together. Then, we will go for a walk on the bridge.
The Dtuang Dork Bridge is located near the resort and can be reached on foot. In the early morning, there is beautiful fog to see.
The morning brought clear skies, allowing us to capture stunning photographs.
This is our own accommodation. After visiting the sky bridge, we had lunch and prepared to go home.
On our way back, there were many places for us to stop. This is one of the places we chose. No matter how many hundreds of times we visit Kanchanaburi, we must stop here. The Bridge on the River Kwai.
Hello, friends!
And this is the good stuff, the famous stuff, people are queuing up for it. It's sold out in no time. The aunt said so, haha. We just got the last stick, so we can go home now.
A short trip to Kanchanaburi for 2 days and 1 night, a perfect getaway for eating and sleeping. Thank you very much for following.
