Our Facebook post inquiring about dirt bike rentals was answered swiftly, and we were soon on our way to an exhilarating off-road adventure. Life is good!
This was the shortest, most economical, most challenging to photograph, most difficult, most leisurely, and most loss-filled trip ever.
The trip began with a post on Facebook. One evening, a man messaged me asking if I wanted to join him. I immediately agreed, as I had been wanting to go for a long time. We arranged to meet at 6 am and set off.
The off-road trip is about to begin. We have agreed to go only to Khao Daen and return in the late morning.
We have embarked on our journey! Our destination is Khao Daen, Phetchaburi Province. Let me preface this by saying that this trip has been the most challenging to photograph because we had to be on a bumpy, winding road. 5555 We also had to resort to a "drive-by" approach to save time. ><
After a short ride from Phetchaburi city, we encountered a ... road. The road we captured on camera wasn't as rough as the most extreme sections, where the driver advised us to hold on tight and avoid taking pictures to prevent falling out of the vehicle.
After a short motorbike ride around the mountain, we arrived at the viewpoint. The world, round and layered, unfolded before us.
The following is a translation of the provided text from Thai to English:
"Are we just small dots on a big world?"
There are also places to rest. Oh, we found traces of camping here. Next time we come here, let's camp together.
It's time to go home.
The thrill of riding a motorcycle led to an unexpected adventure. Who would want to go home easily? Let's continue to another destination, perhaps a waterfall.
Let's go to Bua Yai Waterfall. We rode our motorcycles slowly into the alley, venturing further in.
After finishing the waterfall, we continued our journey. We didn't know where we were going, but we just kept going. There was no path, so we just went down. It was the most random trip ever.
This is Pha Yot Reservoir, where Pha Yot Waterfall is said to be located. However, we did not visit the waterfall.
We continued our journey, taking photos from a moving vehicle. It was a different kind of fun, not having to carefully compose or plan our shots. We just went with the flow and enjoyed the ride.
We will continue to the Nong Ya Plong hot spring. However, before we get there, there is the Kwangchow Waterfall to visit. It is located right next to the road, so it is not difficult to get to. However, we decided not to go because life is good.
Let's stop for breakfast. Oh, I should mention that this is a budget trip. I told my friend beforehand that I only had 60 baht. He said that was fine, as long as I had a helmet and a camera.
This trip only cost us 40 baht for this dish. Everything else was free, including the driver, fuel, and water. We are incredibly grateful.
We will not enter the hot spring today. We have come here too often in the past and have relaxed too much. Today, we will have some fun.
We rode our bikes excitedly to Mae Krasang Waterfall, crossing rocks, dirt, ditches, and streams. We reached the 10th stream, and the bike fell over spectacularly. We, the bike, and the camera all went down. The camera got wet and broke.
Take a break for the car, take a break for the people too. We've heard a saying, "If you come here and don't fall, it's like you never came at all."
The original text describes a personal experience visiting a waterfall. Here's the translated version:
After a while, we continued our journey, having to be more careful as we reached the end of the path. We then descended to the waterfall. "Huh? Why is it so small?" we laughed. We continued walking down the path, taking breaks to play in the water.
Regarding the photo, I used my phone. TT
We then made our way back. This half-day trip was the best ever. Although I'm sad about losing my camera, I'm glad I got to go off-roading. It was so much fun! Now, I wonder what I'll use to take pictures on future trips.
Upon returning, we inquired with a friend residing nearby about the small waterfall. They informed us that a several-kilometer hike uphill was necessary to reach the truly magnificent waterfall. We were devastated, as we had descended rather than ascended, and our camera was no longer functional. We lamented the uncertainty of our return, expressing our eagerness to witness the waterfall's splendor. We vowed to acquire a suitable camera for future adventures, anticipating the opportunity to finally behold the waterfall's grandeur.
