The plane landed at Incheon Airport, and my heart sank. I had heard many stories about the strict immigration officers here. As soon as I got off the plane, I headed straight to immigration. When I reached the counter, a female officer looked at me without saying a word. She then asked me to scan my fingerprints, look at the camera, and stamped my passport. I was through immigration. It wasn't as scary as I thought. After picking up my luggage, I bought a T-money card and boarded the Airport Limousine Bus Line 6015 to Royal City Hotel in Myeongdong. I walked to the hotel. The normal fare is 15,000 won, but I used T-money to reduce it to 13,500 won. The accommodation I booked through www.booking.com was called Ekononomy Hotel Myeongdong Central. When I arrived in the morning, I couldn't check in before 3:00 PM, so I left my luggage and went out to eat.
The first place to visit is the Noryangjin Fish Market.
To reach the Noryangjin Fish Market, take the subway line 2 (green) from Myeongdong Station (Euljiro1(il)-ga) and transfer to line 1 (blue) at the station.
The City Hall subway line can take you to Incheon Airport. Get off at Noryangjin Station. The fare is approximately 1250 won, but I'm not sure about the exact price because I used a T-money card.

How to get to Incheon Airport
You have arrived at Noryangjin Station. Please proceed upstairs after exiting the train.
Upon exiting the exit, proceed to the right to access the bridge over the railway.
Walk straight ahead to the parking lot. There will be a path leading down to the market.
Upon arrival at the fish market, you will find that all the stalls sell similar items, including squid, raw fish, crabs, shrimp, and shellfish.
The vendors here speak many languages. I saw them greet us in Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. We didn't buy from the vendors who called us over, but instead bought from the vendor who was playing on their phone. 555+
Walking straight ahead to the end will lead you to the air-conditioned fish market. It is well-organized and housed in a beautiful building.
I came to this market specifically to eat giant crab and abalone.
This crab was brought in for a photo shoot. The crab we bought was already bagged by the vendor, so we didn't have time to take a picture. The price of the crab is 2400 baht, not including the processing fee.
After selecting fresh seafood, the shop will take you to a restaurant that will cook it for you. You will need to pay a separate cooking fee for the seafood you purchased, which typically costs around 600 baht and includes side dishes. Complimentary bottled water is provided.
It's perfectly cooked and the meat is very sweet. You can eat it plain without dipping sauce. It's delicious!
Four abalones, costing 600 baht, were served as sashimi and were still moving. The texture was very crunchy.
The clams that the vendor gave as a bonus were very large.
The meal was delicious, but I was so busy eating that I didn't take any pictures. The chef used the crab shell to make a stir-fry with seaweed and sesame seeds, which was very tasty.
If you buy raw fish, you'll probably have to carry it back to the hotel.
Stay tuned for the next location we will visit...
