Khwankhao House
"Heuan" is a northern Thai word for a house, also known as a "kwan khao" house.
Kwan Khao Heuan is located in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province.
This homestay, nestled amidst rice fields, embodies the concept of "sufficiency economy."
Simple and serene, it offers a private and authentic experience of rural life. Perfect for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature.

This resort offers two houses, yes, you read that right, two houses! The first house is called "Huen Kwarn Khao" and the second house is called "Huen Khong Khwan". Today, I'm staying at "Huen Khong Khwan". Come and have a look! ^^ "Huen Khong Khwan" can accommodate 2-4 people, which I think is just right. The price per night is 1500 baht. This place has all the amenities you need: air conditioning, fans, and a water heater. There is no TV here, but you have to try it to know that TV is not necessary here ^^
The atmosphere on the upper floor of the house is best captured through imagery.
The lower part has a hammock for chilling out.
Each step taken here reveals the true essence of nature, with the scent of the earth filling the air.
Nature's embrace, a refreshing presence surrounding us, truly heartwarming.

Dinner time is approaching! Dinner is not included in the accommodation fee.
The set menu in the picture costs 320 baht, which is very reasonable for a special meal like this. ^^
However, breakfast is included in the accommodation package.
(If you would like to order dinner, please inform the accommodation in advance so they can prepare it for you.)
Dinner tonight was delicious. The view from the front is a rice field with the sun setting on the horizon. The air is starting to cool down. It's not easy to find an atmosphere like this, but you can find it here. ^^
As darkness enveloped the surroundings, the night's beauty emerged, casting a spellbinding charm. The tranquility of the place allowed me to hear the sounds of small creatures inhabiting the rice fields, serenading me with their delightful melodies.
Good morning.
Breakfast here is minced pork congee with mushrooms, which is delicious.
The photo depicts a succulent plant called "หยดน้ำ" (Water Drop). It typically resides in a pot in Bangkok. However, today, I brought it along on an outing to share the experience. I removed it from its pot to allow it to enjoy the atmosphere with me.
For those who enjoy this style, don't miss out. Try it once and you'll be hooked. As for me, there will definitely be a next time! ^^ Thank you so much, "Huen Khuan Khao".
